Cute place! Those crab rangoons are something special!!! Made with real crab meat in house fresh 10/10. Also had the chicken spring rolls, tasty tasty! Great wine selection. Service was great love the indoor out door seating options had I visited later in the day I would’ve sat outside the set-up is very nice!
We just enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. Emma, our server, was incredibly efficient and knowledgeable. Trust their spice scaling, level three truly is hot. Perfect for me, but hotter than expected. Such fresh vegetables and delicious flavors. This place is a favor of ours and will continue to be so.
Outstanding crew, can manage big groups and make it effortless. Lovely patio when it’s not raining. Food came out right and the quality ingredients shine through. Overall, amazing service and food at a very competitive price. Didn’t try cocktails.
I was not expecting a casual environment, however, I was throughly impressed with both the service and the food. 1. Atmosphere was very casual. Very nice aesthetics, however, and a wonderful aroma greeting you at the door. 2. The service was quick and efficient, multiple well timed checkups, and constant refills, despite our waiter having multiple tables at once. 3. The food was a tad sweet, however, exceptional. The Thai Tea was by and far the best I have ever had. Hawkers, Domu, and a plethora of other stores fall short from what I had here. The Lemonade was a perfect twist of tart and sweet, barring the fantastic blend of other fruit flavors. I'm tempted to come back for the drinks alone. The Curry and Roti(appetizer) was delicious. The Roti had a flaky crisp, and the curry was a bit sweet, however very savory. The Blue Orchid Fried Rice(the name escapes me) was delicious and surpassed my expectations. Mixing the curry from the roti with the rice and meat was a delicious combination I could not forget. In conclusion, I strongly recommend dining here if you want a date night, casual get together, or even a little restaurant to treat yourself with. I made a reservation here for mothers day, as I was expecting something a tad less casual, but was nevertheless throughly surprised by the quality. We absolutely will be coming back. I can’t express enough how amazing this place is. The food is always so flavorful and yummy but not overbearing ! The roti with curry was perfect for a chilly day like today. Servers are always so sweet and attentive even when it’s crazy busy. Drinks are soo good ! I genuinely enjoy every time I come in and will recommend to anyone.
Truly a great establishment in every aspect, from the moment I sat down with my wife we already had amazing service from a nice server named Travis. The decor is very pleasant and interesting, the menu is absolutely perfect, no notes required. The food is excellent and more diverse than most places I’ve been, cooked perfectly and above well seasoned. The people here obviously take pride in what they do and they deserve every ounce of it.
Emma was absolutely amazing at her customer service skills. She was pleasant, knowledgeable of the menu by making recommendations, and had good command presence especially with her clean appearance. Food was great. I would definitely recommend and be back again.
The Blue Orchid Thai Cuisine restaurant is very good with both indoor and outdoor seating that overlooks the Memorial Park on Riverside Ave. The service was excellent and the lunch special menu is reasonably priced.
Lunch at the Blue Orchid - the Thai Cuisine in Riverside was the perfect way to end a visit to the museum. Everything was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the lettuce wraps, and you really can’t go wrong with any of the curries—they’re all beautifully prepared. We sat outside on the patio on a gorgeous spring day, and it made the whole experience even better. If the weather is nice, definitely ask for a table outside. The staff was so kind and welcoming, and they happily accommodated our little corgi on the patio after we’d spent time at the park across the street. One more tip: there’s parking in the back lot, and a lot of people don’t realize it’s there. It makes visiting so much easier. We’ll definitely be back.
The food was incredible, the patio was lovely, and we definitely had the coolest server (Toni). Loved it! I am bummed they got rid of the fried deviled eggs, it was actually the reason I wanted to take my partners car here - but at least the food we did get don’t disappoint
