I probably would change my rating if I visited again, but this visit literally made me cry. I was so disappointed. We got to Bass Pro later than we intended because it was a 10-hour travel day and traffic messed us up, but we still got there an hour before close. We booked it to the elevator and got in line at like 8:10. We waited and waited and waited, and then the worker at the front of the line started counting. She turned us away with just three people in line ahead of us. When we passed through memphis at the beginning of our trip, I said we should stop here on our way back through; I really wish I hadn't. I was so excited and my hopes were up, and it was just so disappointing to be turned away like that. We spent all that time in line, so we didn't even get to look around. I wish they would have turned us away sooner if that was going to be the case. I wanted to get a shirt and see the fish. It was completely a waste. Then, I figured I could at least go to the bathroom before we got back on the road. (We're from MO, I normally love a bass pro and their bathrooms.) But this one was TERRIBLE. I went to the family restroom because that was the first one I found; there was TP all over the floor and none in the holder. I had to use a freaking paper towel, and that dispenser is broken; I had to press the button 10 times to get 3 inches of paper towel. And the sink spewed water all over my shirt. Worst Bass Pro experience of my life.
This place is incredible, the observation decks, the restaurant at the top, a bowling alley, a shooting range, the hotel inside are just a few things inside the Pyramid. It's $8 per person to use the elevator to get to the observation deck. $10 for a half hour at the range isn't bad at all.

This place is incredible! Really something. I love bad pro shops in general but there was a lot extra here! Such as Restaurants and a shooting range. I purchased a Fanny pack that came with two water bottles it’s my favorite. The look out was open luckily and that was a lot of fun too. I hope to visit again.
This place was so cool! The store alone is huge, but there's a couple of restaurants, a bowling alley, and an observation deck. And you can stay there because it has a hotel inside! Easily takes a couple of hours to go through. Super cool stop!
Do yourself a favor and plan on being here an entire day. So many things to do and look at. The observation deck is breathtaking, and if its not, the elevator ride up to it will take your breath away lol.
REALLY COOL. Want to come back and stay at the lodge. Telling family and friends about this place. On top of being REALLY COOL (did I already mention that?) it was super clean and had friendly service. A great sightseeing and shopping experience. I’m still amazing at how big the place was and how many fish we saw! Oh, and there are gators too!
Absolutely mind-blowing! Bass Pro Shops in Memphis is on a whole different level — it’s not just a store, it’s an experience. The building itself inside the giant pyramid is insane. Massive aquarium, waterfalls, elevators, an observation deck with crazy views — you could spend hours here. A must-visit spot even if you’re not into hunting or fishing.
A fascinating amalgamation of hotel, sports outfitter, restaurant, museum, and tourist attraction. Definitely pay for the elevator ride to the lookout. Great views of the Mississippi River and Memphis. Alligators and fish were fun to watch. Great selection of hiking boots. Valet parking available. No unpaid merchandise is allowed in the elevator to the viewpoint. There are baskets you can leave your things in or checkout and come back in.
We always have a great time at the Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid! We’ve stayed in the hotel as well and had a wonderful room. Definitely a must see!
