Cool experience to have so much to do in 1 place. Shop, eat @ 2 different restaurants, ride the tallest elevator, look out at the scenery of the city & river, enjoy ponds, aquarium, & alligators.
Whoever said Disneyland is the happiest place on Earth has clearly never held a Gun in the glorious Bass Pro Shop pyramid in Memphis. Walking in feels like stepping into a curated wilderness—a mix of awe, adventure, and the quiet thrill of the catch. Towering displays of wildlife, walls of gleaming gear, and the faint scent of cedar and leather make it hard to leave. Even Schopenhauer, master of misery, might crack a reluctant grin at the sheer scale of hooks, boats, and possibilities. Here, happiness isn’t forced—it sneaks up when you’re admiring the scenery or plotting your next cast. 5 stars. -1 star because the observation deck doesn’t open until 11AM 4 stars. +1 star because it’s beautiful and I can’t stay angry at such a wonderful place. 5 Stars.

The inside of the pyramid is HUGE and there’s so much to look at — aquariums, boats, wildlife displays, and even an observation deck with amazing views of Memphis. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place felt more like an attraction than just a store. Definitely one of the most unique Bass Pro Shops I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Memphis!
Love Memphis Bass Pro Shop Pyramid! The lookout is amazing and the sinks are on point. I ate the loaded fries while having drinks because I had already ate. I have the pyramid vodka with jalapeños in it. Was great then I had my chocolate martini. Omg y'all have to try them both. Was $50ish dollars but worth it.
Absolutely fantastic place! They did such a great job with this place with everything! So themed even in the bathrooms. If you are near by you just need to come, especially with the lookout point!

Such a unique experience to shop. Honestly, I wish it were located in a more desirable area. I wasn't expecting to have to pay to use the elevator, but in retrospect, it makes sense from a business perspective. The lookout was full of lovebirds and social media influencers, but the views from the top were subpar overall. The views inside the pyramid were much better.
Bass Pro Shops are already great if you love fishing, hunting, and camping. But the one in Memphis is an attraction in its own right. I've never seen a bigger one. It's crazy—in a good way! A must-see—don't miss it.
Definitely worthy of a stop as there are few sightseeing stops around Memphis. The store is unique inside the big pyramid, but the wait to go up to the overlook is insane.
We had a great time here and we went on the elevator and it had lots of great scenic views of the entire store. We then proceed to go onto the observation deck, which was a little bit windy, but we still also had a great time there prices range from about $20-$100 for different apparel
