My friends and I decided to stop in on a Friday for dinner. Covid restrictions were being relaxed at the restaurant but seating indoor and outdoor were still adequately spaced. We ordered at the counter and took our order number to look for a table. The place was pretty busy but before long a table became available. The indoor server came over and sanitized the table before we sat down. The food here was tasty and the drinks were great. I thoroughly enjoyed the indoor decor and it was nice to be able to sit inside a restaurant again. The server was very attentive and was still wearing a mask for our protection. Bamboo Grove has been a Portland staple for tasty Hawaiian food for many years. I'm happy to say it has survived Covid and hopefully will to be here for many more. If you are looking for great Hawaiian food on this side of town definitely stop by!

Remember, local food is not fast food. Great things come to those who wait. In this case, always worth a little wait for some good local hawaii grindz.

This place is one of my favorite places I have been in Portland. The vibe is fun. The food is great and honestly just a really good value. We split a large combo and had some leftovers I am stoked to go back and try more items.
The food had a great taste, but the chicken and the ribs were a bit charred and the pulled pork was on the salty side. The place is small and luckily when we went there was no waiting list
I have the Korean rib dinner & it was just right! The Paradise cooler cocktail was not too sweet but hit the spot. Our waitress was very nice and her suggestions were helpful . Great location & easy parking. Tasty and relaxing. What more could a person want?!
These guys don’t play on portions! A medium is enough for 2 hungry construction workers! I like how they don’t over sauce the chicken but let you add sauce…quite tasty!
In my top 5 favorite restaurant. So delicious, plus large portions. Highly recommend!
