This place is a treasure. I decided to go all out. Got a medium combination platter of the teriyaki chicken and Korean ribs. Came with rice and Hawaiian pasta salad. It was 10/10. I also got a Long Island (or maybe it was called Hawaiian but you get the gist) iced tea. Awesome. My friend got a piña colada. I just can’t wait to go back. I’ll be eating this platter for at least 4 meals.

Came here for a bite to eat before going clubbing and I was really impressed with the portion size! The large was easily big enough for two with leftovers to take home 😊 The guava teriyaki chicken didn't convey the nature of guava to me, and some bites were a bit over charred, tasting of soot and dried out, stringy. The scorched soot flavor upset my stomach later, as it typically does 😥 The server was friendly and prompt, and the food was out in no time at all, pre-cooked. I'd definitely recommend coming in to try Bamboo Grove sometime!

Wonderful birthday meal that my kids treated me to. Love this place. Highly recommend the Kehei ribs. The leftovers were just as good the next day!

Food is really good and the portions are big. A large grind plate is enough for three easily and four for lighter appetites. Definitely an add to our restaurant list. We got the kalua pig and teriyaki beef. So good.

Nice little Hawaiian restaurant with a quaint atmosphere. They have free street parking available. Good portion selections, I choose the medium loco moco which came with two ground beef patties, two scoops of rice, and a scoop of macaroni salad. The masubi was served with chili sauce and sweet and sour sauce, both had great flavor, the chili sauce definitely has a bite!

We had a small birthday party in the back room. Walking in, it smelled amazing! My 3 year old picky eater immediately said this food smells good! I think that's a first. I looked over the menu ahead of time and decided I'll try something I've never had at a Hawaiian restaurant before. I got the yakisoba, and it was great!

I’m a single mom of a two year old and restaurants are usually a nerve wracking experience. That was not my experience yesterday here. The beautiful curly haired waitress was so friendly and sweet to me and my daughter. She really made the experience incredible and comfortable. I can’t thank her enough. The food was also fantastic , best experience I’ve had in Portland hands down

Nothing too spectacular but it was good. Make sure you order sauces or your chicken will be dry.

Craving Hawaiian food in SW Portland? Bamboo Grove Hawaiian Grille serves up hearty portions, an extensive menu, and delicious island flavors. No frills—just solid, affordable food. The staff is friendly, and street parking is usually easy to find.

Grindz was good. I like their macaroni salad. Everyone was super friendly. The atmosphere was good for meeting up with friends as it wasn't too loud and we could hear each other well.
