Easy to book. The communication was great. Several people worked this to make sure I got my car where it needed to go in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable cost. The transport driver and his team made sure I got up to date info through the journey. Reviews helped me make my decision. Glad I trusted the process.

Paid around $2,700 to get my vehicle from my grandparents front door in Jacksonville, FL to the shipyard in Hawaii for a Subaru crosstrek. Overall, experience was pretty smooth. It was slotted to arrive the 17th but actually came the 12th. You will not be able to have anything in your car as a heads up, car has to be empty and with less that 1/4 tank gas. Overall, I’d use them again!

While I will say getting a quote was easy and the price was fair, once I made the down payment, the commitment level fell off the charts. There was a 5 day window available to transport my car 5 hrs and the representative I was working with assured me multiple times my car would deliver by the time it was needed, including still the morning of the last day it was supposed to arrive. It wasn’t until we got to the mid-day point of the 5th day (last day delivery could be expected) when I politely, yet pointedly, asked if they would still get my car delivered by the end of the day … and then got a message saying “nothing yet” and that there are no guarantees, but I was entitled to a refund. I was very clear the entire time of the deadline to get my car to me and I even questioned why they didn’t even consult me when they found a driver that cost a little more but guaranteed delivery next day. They just informed me after the fact that the option was on the table for a little more money, but they declined on my behalf and then didn’t follow through with their delivery commitment at all and I lost almost a week waiting. On the 5th day, mid-day. I did cancel my reservation and went with a competitor of Auto Star that picked up that same day and delivered the next morning for just a tad more money. I hope my experience was an anomaly and based on other reviews, it very well could have been … but just make sure you understand the fine print of what you are signing up for vs what they verbally assure you of, as the two were not the same during my experience. Nexus auto transport is who I ended up going with and they did exactly what they said they would for the price agreed upon.

Allen was super great! He answered all my questions and kept me informed with everything that was happening. The transport company was amazing as well! They called in plenty of time before pick-up. I was able to see where he was all the way till drop off point! It was delivered with no issues! I will go through them again the next time I need a vehicle transport! Thanks for everything!

I would highly recommend this company. We just recently had our daughter's car transported from Miami to LA and everything went so smoothly. As soon as I requested information they called me and within a few days the car was on it's way to LA. The drivers were courteous and prompt. They communicated with my daughter right before pickup and before drop off. The service was excellent!

Communication was poor from Autostar ans especially the carrier. Autostar was first contacted about 3/24/26. They finally reached out about 4/1/26 to inform me if the carrier and their contact info. The request for this review, (5/18/26) is the only contact from Autostar. The contact from the actual carrier was nonexistent . I head from my agent at the pickup that the truck had been loaded. Three days later I got a text message that they would be delivering in about a half hour. It was 10:30 pm

Autostar made it easy to set up transport of my vehicle from NC to NY. Max helped me set things up over the phone, and our driver was super with communication and pictures. Everyone made it an easy experience.

We shipped a vehicle from Texas to Florida. The quoting and scheduling was smooth and convenient, the payment process was also smooth, thanks to Edwin. The actual shipping of the car was smooth thanks to the delivery driver. The reason for my review is to clarify that there was not an accurate ETA and the unprofessional conduct of the dispatcher Lloyd. Lloyd called and yelled at me multiple times that the driver had been attempting to deliver the car for a day an a half, which I had no knowledge of and is actually impossible given the time it takes to drive from Texas to Florida. The delivery driver was understandably frustrated when we had to have him wait so that the person accepting the transport could arrange security to allow the drop off. Because we were not given an accurate ETA - there is a time difference between me, Texas and Florida, it could have all been avoided. Lloyd was yelling at me on the phone for something completely avoidable due to the lack of communication of Lloyd himself. We all had a job to do and the way he spoke to me and handled this transaction was un-called for.

Once we got through the process of AutoStar identifying and selecting a shipping carrier I. Their network, the shipping itself was smooth overall. Our new car showed up at our doorstep much faster than expected. As we saw the car get unloaded we could see it was treated with care and zero damages. The driver was pleasant as well.
