Located in a decrepit parking garage currently undergoing work prior to its demolition, leaving the place unsightly and inconvenient to arrive to, especially being on the 9th floor. Besides that, it's a pretty straightforward experience. The car was in good condition, and the pick up process was as usual as any other car rental space, aside from the poor condition of the location. The drop off was a bit delayed due to the workers being unavailable, likely due to having to run from floor to floor.
Although I told them I do not need any extras, they were a bit pushy. Besides that, the car rental process was really smooth. I really enjoyed. I would not give a chance if I did not find a very good deal in Carla app. Thank you guys for everything!
ALAMO - a huge DISAPPOINTMENT. Get this: I rented a car for 10 days for $ 645,09. On the tenth day I called Alamo to ask for a 3 day extension. They said the extension is approved with no extra charges. Never received an email confirmation. When I returned the car on the agreed upon date, the total amount to pay was $ 2.938,87 (4,6 times more!!!). A lot of money, right? I've been calling them every week since and they would say: “your case got escalated to corporate management. Wait 48 hours for your refund (of $ 2.293,78).” 48 h passed and no refund. The last time I called a week ago and asked to talk to a supervisor, they told me they escalated the case to the highest level possible and that manager will call me back within 24 h. Guess what, never got the call. Are they lying to my face? Is Alamo just a corporate of thieves? I hope not.
Alamo has treated me well, so no complaints there. I just hated having to return my car here since you need to spiral all the way up to the top of the garage with really narrow two way lanes the whole way. It makes car return a bit stressful, to me at least.
Weirdest place to rent a car ever. I’m an Alamo loyalist but this was not a good experience. The rental desk is on the 9th floor of a parking garage that is in the process of being demolished. To bring the car back you have to wind around to the 9th floor and then there are no people and no instructions. Do you leave the key? No way to know. Oh and don’t bother trying to switch the drop off to the airport, that will cost an extra $700 plus.
Yolanda got everything done quickly and had a great attitude despite a very packed office. Another employee cleaned the windows. I definitely recommend this location.

Worse place ever!!!! Called made a reservation representative told me I was all set to pick up vehicle! When arrived at the place I was told I needed a airplane ticket to rent my vehicle! Also that they do not accept debit card! None of this was explained to me at all until I spent my gas money and time. PLEASE BE AWARE AS THEY ARE NOT HONEST AT THIS LOCATION AND LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING!
Alamo is a nice company, nice employes, easy to take a car in boston and let it a jfk after one month and 7590 kilometers... Nice price too. Every time i come in the us i rent with alamo, no soucy no surprise.
Everything went smoothly during pick-up and drop-off. Assistant tried to sell us additional features, but was not pushy. They probably have to do that, but was ok.
