We've rented from Alamo several times before and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, we can't say the same for this location. 1. The rental was in my husband's name, but we had an additional driver included. When we arrived, we were told we had to pay a young driver surcharge of $500 for me because I'm under 25! We've rented from Alamo at both Miami and Las Vegas airports, and both times we didn't have to pay this surcharge. In Las Vegas, a friendly woman at the counter explained that if you're married, your spouse is covered, regardless of age, and therefore we didn't have to pay the surcharge. Two years earlier in Miami, the Alamo employee also waived the young driver surcharge for us, even though we weren't married at the time. Apparently, the employees have some leeway, which makes the situation in Boston all the more disappointing. I pointed out to the man in Boston that we had been told something different recently, but he wasn't interested. Furthermore, this surcharge seems designed to rip off inexperienced drivers. I've had my driver's license for almost seven years. A 25-year-old who's only had their license for a year wouldn't have to pay this fee. Perhaps the terms and conditions should be reviewed; it's very frustrating! 2. We've always been used to being able to choose from different cars in the booked class with Alamo! Here, we were assigned a specific car. The car was dirty on the outside and looked like it had been sitting there for a long time. Disappointing. 3. Furthermore, the tank initially showed full (with a range of 332 miles), but when we filled it up ourselves later, it showed a range of over 500 miles. Strange! Overall, we were disappointed with this location, as we've always been so impressed with Alamo before…
Today we picked up our Jeep, which we'd booked a long time ago. The great employee in the office down by the street worked so efficiently. When we arrived, there were still three customers ahead of us, but he only needed five minutes for each one. After the usual formalities, like passport, driver's license, and credit card, we went around the corner of the building to the elevator on the 7th floor. There, too, we were quickly shown to our car and immediately given an exit ticket for the parking garage. But be careful! It expires after just 15 minutes. Don't let them give you the ticket until you're ready to drive off in your new car, otherwise the barrier at the bottom won't open. Then you have to pay $20 or get help at the counter next to the elevators. Otherwise, as I already mentioned, everything was great!

The area this Alamo location is in is extremely sketchy. The building is under construction. they are located on level 9 if you’re looking for them. The lady who assisted me was super nice and professional. Poor thing was alone at the counter. My rental experience was dishonest and jeopardized my safety. I didn’t realize my van rental that I was driving across country had break problems. It was making a loud noise whenever they were in use. And I was told the car was serviced and inspected prior to me renting it. I had to fill the tires up which were also low on air. Customer service could care less and I spent a FORTUNE on a vehicle that was terrifying to drive.
Alamo is great - fast service, nice car (Mazda SUV) and no hassle/ no high pressure sales tactics. Also easy return (took less then 2 minutes).
The friendliness of the people working here was really amazing. At the counter at check in as well as on the floor where I got my car. Needed to post this because I have rarely experienced that before.
A queue as always whenever I rent a car. The staff were helpful and polite. The car was good.
Quick trip from the airport. Easy processing. Quoted a different price. Corrected the lady and she selected correct day with the special reserved. Didn't like the truck provided due to different color and dislike model. Employee offered a different vehicle without asking.

Alamo is always great choice to rent car from, convenient location, great service and nice price. want to say thanks to Yvenson and manager Julissa who were dealing with my forgotten wallet in the car, after couple days they gave me a call and said where I can pick it up by that time I already put up with my lost, so it was such an amazing news.
