We had the pleasure of working with Matt at Agalliu Contracting for a full remodel of the middle floor of our home, including a gut renovation of the kitchen and powder room. From start to finish, Matt was professional, patient, and incredibly responsive. The project involved moving plumbing and electrical to accommodate a completely new kitchen layout, and Matt brought in an expert crew who handled every challenge with skill and precision. Despite delays due to custom materials (all on our end), Matt remained cool, collected, and supportive throughout the entire process. He was always on schedule, quick to respond to texts and calls, and ready to tackle any unforeseen issues with a calm, solution-oriented approach. His crew was respectful, tidy, and made our family feel comfortable, even after months of construction in our home. By the end of the project, it honestly felt like Matt and his team were part of the family. I recently hired Matt from Agalliu Contracting to full-renovate my 3-bedroom co-op apartment in Sunnyside, Queens, and I’m very happy with the results. The project was originally planned for about four months but ended up taking around six months to finish. The progress was a bit slow in the beginning, but things really picked up toward the end, and the final results were absolutely worth the wait. Matt offered great customization options and helped me design a space that feels modern, comfortable, and perfectly suited to my needs. His communication was excellent throughout the process — he kept me updated, listened to feedback, and made sure everything was done the way I wanted.
