Three months ago I decided to hire Agalliu Contracting to renovate my kitchen. My wife had reservations about selecting this contractor. After meeting Mat a few times and feeling assured by his approach, we took the leap of faith and entrusted him with our renovation project. Now we couldn't be happier with the results. Mat and his team were incredibly efficient and professional throughout the process. I was relieved to find that I didn't need to constantly oversee the work, as they were on top of everything. Not only did they complete the project on schedule, but there were no unexpected change orders. I was particularly wary of this, as many contractors initially offer low estimates only to later present clients with additional costs. Given our positive experience, we have decided to engage Agalliu Contracting again to renovate our two bathrooms. We are confident that they will deliver excellent results once more.

Matt and his team did an incredible job on my renovation — they completed a full gut renovation of my bathroom, built new closets and added molding etc in a matter of weeks. Matt is a great communicator, responds quickly to texts and is clear about when work will be completed. He made it easy for me to pick out finishes and fixtures and helped me decide on the right paint color. Highly recommend if you want work done quickly and well.

Don't go with these guys. I'm telling you, you will regret it down the line. Sure everything looks great and beautiful when they are done but it's shotty work. They remodeled 2 bathrooms and a kitchen for me around 7 years ago and I'm dealing with grout crumbling and tiles falling off from them from using the wrong grout and thinset. They also didn't slope the floor of the bathroom tiles so I have water build up every time I shower. I also had to get the tiling re-grouted on my kitchen floor because it was coming apart since they used the wrong grout. Beware!

Waited a year and some change just to confirm the quality of the work and ensure that there were no issues with any of the new construction. Matt was a pure joy to work with. He and his team were timely and efficient with demo, reframing rooms, constructing and rebuilding new walls, installing waterproof insulation, and all the tiling and paint work. We had a very tight schedule to get the renovations done and they were able to complete a full gut renovation of a 3-bedroom/2bathroom coop in 12 weeks. When we had an issue with a leak in our sink 18 months after the job was completed, he arranged for one of his plumber vendors to visit and fix the link and re-affix the sink within three hours. Renovating a home in this city (and just anywhere) is a true nightmare scenario and it is really easy to pick a terrible contractor that can leave you with a non-functioning home. Agallliu Contracting, instead, gave my family our home. I cannot be thankful enough for this company and for Matt's efforts in helping us with this. Because of him and his company, my wife and I are raising our son in a most comfortable and happy home.

We worked with Matt and Agalliu Contracting to renovate our apartment. We did a full gut renovation of the bathroom, as well as refinished the floors, adding more lights to the living room and entryway, and added new electric lines to support the appliances and air conditioners.
