This carrier lost my freight, even though it was large, relatively heavy, and expensive They never initiated contact with me about the problem, And, when I contacted them they didn't even try to pretend like they were sorry about the lost freight. No solutions were offered other than "wait and see if it shows up". Well, 3 weeks after they picked up the freight it still hasn't shown up and I have heard nothing more from them.
They were 3 days late picking up my order to begin with. Delivery was supposed to be in 3 to 5 business days, but took 7. Limited updates. That said, they finally did deliver, and that part was fine.
We have used ABF for a few years now. The manufacturers we work with are shipping very large and very heavy equipment. Super easy to deal with and pick up from. Normally, I walk right in and see smiling faces and get loaded quickly and might i add very professionally. Easy to drive in with a dual axel trailer and get out. We stopped using other freight companies simply because they do not treat the shipments with the same care as ABF.
Ever since I moved my business to the Industrial Park Circle in Georgetown, my large glass crates out of Denver, have been delivered by ABF Freight. This requires a lift gate. The same driver, Belvis King, has delivered my glass. I always check in with the warehouse to find out when the glass will be loaded and delivered. I have always had excellent service. No glass has ever come broken. I don't know why people have given them such bad reviews, although there could have been one bad/unfriendly service rep but I have never had any problem with anyone at the company and my driver is the nicest guy and does an excellent job. Came here to pickup a shipment. We didnt get there till after they were closed. They stayed open late for us, helped us load the crates and offered us coffee for the road as it was late. Great place!!
Our company uses ABF for freight shipments and they consistently deliver damaged and crushed pallets. Today we received a shipment of six pallets and five were crushed and damaged.
Delivery and pick up were top notch with both the shipping from and shipping to addresses. All of my belongings were delivered unharmed. ABF hires very personable people who care about their work and helping customers.
Pointless to utilize any other company. They have been nothing but amazing with handling my shipping and receiving of all freight. I even used them for relocations and it went smooth at a very lost cost point.
I was told my delivery would be between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. When it became clear to me that the delivery was not going to happen within that time frame, I called them. I spoke with Lisa who at first was friendly. When I explained that I had to run somewhere for 15 minutes at 5:00 p.m. (when the delivery should have already happened) she told me that I was wrong about being given a window. I explained to her who I spoke to and that he indeed gave me a time window and she became extremely rude. Extremely. Don't use this company if you are looking for timely deliveries and customer service. Also, I was told that all the shipments on the driver's truck fell over so that I why he was delayed. So the freight isn't cared for either.
Dear Amazon, please do not use ABF Freight to ship items; late on the shipment and then you have to make an "appointment" for them to deliver the item. Oh, and the "appointment" means they can deliver it between 8-5. So basically you would be sitting at home waiting to see if they will come or not.
