ABF Freight

I wanted to highly recommend and thank Andrew Hawes - he is an incredible driver and deserves a promotion and a raise! He helped deliver a 1000 pound sauna today and went above and beyond to make sure the delivery was done right. He was very careful and professional, and went the extra mile to back up the truck all the way down a windy driveway up to the garage just to be able to deliver it correctly. I really appreciated his help and can’t thank him enough! Give him a promotion or we will need to hire him ourselves!

I used ABF for my UPack reservation when moving cross country. The staff was incredibly helpful. I was really nervous about the move so I called them a few times with questions and they were always patient and helpful. Day of, we got there after business hours. One of the fork lift drivers stayed late to make sure we got everything packed okay, and we're so lucky that he did because we had trouble closing one of the doors because it wouldn't catch the top latch. He got the fork lift and did a very skillful move to slightly lift the piece that wouldn't catch, allowing us to easily lock it. I'm very thankful for everyone's help!!

We are so grateful to have Keith as our account rep! He has helped us greatly expand our offerings as a production company. We've leaned on him and his team for less-than-truckload, full truckload, and even international shipments and he has truly gone above and beyond. He move quickly, is extremely personable, and has taken on our challenges as his own. I was worried my shipment would be damaged when shipping it from TX to OH. This company knows what they doing. The shipment did not have any damage when it arrived OH. They gave accurate delivery time and it was easy when they came to get the shipment from my house. I want to give them 5 stars to credit them the way they handled my shipment from the beginning and customer service. I always got the info I need for my shipment when I called. The shipment is damaged or not depending on how you pack it. You can’t blame them for damaging it when you do a bad job from the beginning. I don’t get to know all the local ABF Freight in between in the way it was shipped there, so I can’t tell how they handled my shipment. It was not damaged, so I can’t complain. I did call the ABF Freight in OH to ask for status too. They did tell me what I needed to know. Overall this company is good. Highly recommended!

The staff at ABF-Pflugerville (Austin) were great to work with! I was trying to intercept a delivery and save everyone time and effort. They pulled it off. A HUGE thank you goes out to Dani for helping me out.

The customer service was great! I was able to call and schedule for an earlier delivery with no problem. They were very accommodating. The delivery driver, Delbert, went above and beyond to bring everything inside safely and he was very friendly as well. Everything arrived in good condition and I am happy with my product. Assembly was easy.

My Toy warehouse company in Hutto has been using this partner carrier with Amazon shipments, and they are good being on time! AAACT is never on time and come 2-3 days later!

We used this company in Colorado and they were very helpful, professional and organized. CANNOT say the same about the Austin side. The guy in Colorado who picked up our trailer apparently put the lock on the wrong door, resulting in them just not delivering us a ramp. We ended up having to send our movers home and have them come back 4 hours later and then they acted like it wasn’t their problem. The movers are back (30 minutes after they said the ramp would be here), and they still haven’t delivered the ramp, and also will not answer the phone. What an unprofessional, unorganized, infuriating, customer service. I will say that the guy who delivered the trailer was amazing and was able to get it into a tight space. Up until our delivery I had a great experience with this company but the Austin crew is so unorganized and have cost us a lot of money in their disorganization.

Had the worst experience with this company. First, they didn’t call to let us know that the truck broke down and wouldn’t be able to make it within the 8 hour allotted delivery time. 8 hours. I understand things happen, but communicate, so I’m not wasting my day. I had to call myself to figure out what was happening and reschedule the delivery to another day after being told it could take another 2+ hours. Then, while I was out, they tried to deliver the furniture AN HOUR after I had called. I had to rush home only to discover they left the heavy furniture on my driveway for me to single-handedly move into my house. I asked for help and was told “I can’t go inside.” If you can use a different company for delivery, you’re better off taking the other option.

Unsure what the issue was with others. They left me a voicemail confirming delivery time I had scheduled with Amazon. I was able to push up delivery directly with them. 1st order I requested they return it before it was even delivered to me. Fast return. No issue. I ordered the same thing (lower price). The item was delivered to me as promised. Again I was able to change the delivery time/ date directly with them. Time frame was from 9 to 12. They were on time.
