My fish and chips were too salty. The pork steak was tender and the salmon dish was fresh. The highlight of this place is the ambience, comfortable booth seats and the variety of alcoholic and IPAs. A ridiculous note was they ran out of ice creams for their desserts which I found shocking.
We were in town, and pretty tired from walking all day, and glad we found Yard House. Stopped in for their happy hour, and enjoyed several beers, as well as some apps. Will definitely be back next time we are in town. Top notch beers & great service.
We LOVE this place. It’s a bit far from us but we will make the hour drive just to go to their amazing happy hour. We love that we can order at the table and the servers are always awesome!
Came to this restaurant for dinner for the second day of my company event in Seattle. The restaurant itself had a great interior atmosphere and was very cozy. Good for a gathering, and there are TVs for watching sports as well. I believe the restaurant is not yet prepared to accommodate large group dining. There are around 30+ of us, and after ordering, we waited 1 hour+ for the food to start serving to our two large tables. My menu consists of steak & fries, tomato bisque, and chocolate lava cake. The steak I asked for medium rare, but the steak came well done, and it is quite tough to eat as well. The chocolate lava cake was great, with the warm chocolate lava filling oozing out. The staff are friendly and kind but the food service is quite slow. They forgot my starter, and it showed up after my main course.
We went for happy hour. Our waiter was friendly and efficient despite us being there during a very busy time. Food was good!
This is a great place to eat in Seattle. A large menu of excellent food and 100 beers on tap makes it the perfect spot in downtown Seattle. It's also very close to Pike Place Market. However, there are some notable negatives. The first is a lack of parking, as you'll have to find a spot somewhere nearby and walk over. The second issue is the lighting inside the restaurant. It's unnecessarily dark inside. In a good number of spots you'll need to use your phone's flashlight to even read the menu. Management needs to consider their current lighting configuration and adjust it, because it's entirely unacceptable that you can't even read the menu due to a lack of light. Even during the middle of the day these guys make the lighting arrangement quite poor. The lighting in a restaurant should adjust to the time of day, not be preset to such darkness.
We had a last minute gathering at The Yard without any reservation. They quickly accommodated our group of 12, despite being busy. Our waiter was very patient and supportive and our order arrived in no time. Every meal was very tasty and the beer too! I personally recommend the Salmon Mediterranean, but I know people enjoyed their steaks and burgers as well! Prices were reasonable considering location and quality
The wait wasn't too long they got us seated quick but that was the only thing I would say I was impressed about. I got their boneless wing appetizers and it was good the sauce was what stole the show the chicken was just ok but I love that the dish came out hot and fresh sucks that I can't say that about the entree which was a salmon pasta that had no seasoning was cold and very much over cooked pasta. Stick to wings and beer at this place for sure.
The food was good! The atmosphere was pretty loud and it was a little hard to hear everyone speaking at the table, but it’s March Madness and the game was on, so I think that’s reasonable. A drink and a steak comes out to around $80-$90 with tip. You can find cheaper but this was yummy and a good experience. Ordered: 8oz filet mignon (it was cooked perfectly) Mango mojito - was delicious
Just like every other Yard house, which is a good thing. You know what you are going to get and a ton of beer options, to include a full page of "local" beers.
