i absolutely loved my experience at this store. the employees and managers were some of the kindest people i’ve ever met and they had great service. one worker named antonia was especially helpful!! i will 100% be recommending this store to my friends and i will be returning
Yesterday, I had the absolute worst experience with this store on 16th Street Mall. A friend and I were visiting from out of town and it was our last night in Denver. We had yet to get any souvenir clothing and figured 16th St was the best option. We stumbled across Where the Buffalo Roam and stopped in. The store was very clean and organized. We each picked up a couple t-shirts to look at the sizing and designs. Matthew came over very friendly and offered his assistance and if we had any questions or needed help with sizing. There was one other store we wanted to check out before actually purchasing something, so we went there next, but didn't find anything so we headed back to Where the Buffalo Roam to buy the shirts we had originally looked at. This is where everything went downhill. I picked up two shirts to decide between. Matthew came up to me, asked where I was from, and I responded back, Iowa. He then said to me, "this is probably going to sound rude, but everytime you pick up a shirt, I have to refold it and I see you are just carelessly putting them back." I told him that I had only picked up two shirts, one of which I was hoping to buy, and that I have worked in retail and am always sure to not mess up piles and fold things back to my best ability. He continued to argue with me until I finally said "okay" and continued looking through the store, being cautious not to pick up "too many" shirts. I picked out my shirt and headed to the register. Matthew ended up checking me out. This is where he began yelling at me. Telling me that "if every customer shopped like you do the store would look like a tornado went through". I very kindly tried explaining to him that I worked several years in retail and understand the frustration, but that is also part of the job, and that the store looked very nice and clean. He continued to raise his voice at me, called me a traitor on retail because I picked up too many pieces of clothing. I told him that I wanted to make sure I got the right size and design that I wanted. He continued to be insanely rude to me. This went on for at least 5 minutes as other customers waited in line behind us, listening to the entire conversation. At this point I told him, "please ring my stuff up and stop talking to me." He told me, "I thought Iowa people were supposed to be nice." The entire store was watching/listening at this point, my friend was so embarrassed and uncomfortable that she ran out of the store, even though she had paid for her shirt, and left it at the register. I told her that she needed to go back in, because she was not going to pay for the shirt and then not take it home. She is very shy and hated the idea of having to go back in. She ended up going back in, where Matthew continued to talk badly about me to her for several minutes. I have seen several reviews about this happening with this guy. He is horrible for this business and represents the world of retail terribly and feel bad for the owner of the store. My parents own a business, that I also work for, and know how important it is to have good employees. Hopefully the owner realizes he is not an asset to their team. Until then, I hope my extremely lengthy review helps others avoid a situation like I had.
Accused my son of stealing...... We shop in this store regularly. Fun stuff and great gifts. Tonight we were in the store and the gentleman working accused my son of stealing a football and chased me out of the store yelling at me when I confronted him. Absolutely unacceptable!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! There are at least 3 other stores near that carry the same merchandise.
Tonia and bree will go out of there way to assist their customers. What I experienced today was one of the customer service I have seen in a very long time. I'd hang on to those two. Also I think they make a great team.
Wonderful Store! Tay, the Store Manager, was professional and courteous! For a pleasant shopping experience, I suggest everyone visit this downtown location in Denver!

Never been in this store before but was helped by miranda. Im not much of a clothing shopper like my husband but she helped me pick out flattering outfits and was very patient with me. Highly recommend!
