Upchurch Builders built our forever home on four acres in rural Shelby County and we could not have made a better decision. Our initial quote was dead on the money... in fact we ended up UNDER BUDGET!! All of their subs were wonderful and answered every question, met every need directly and without conflict of any sort. Our home is everything we anticipated AND MORE!! The process was smooth and under six months as promised initially. If you’re looking for a straight forward and honest builder to work with, we believe you’ve found him!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lee Upchurch and his team. I’ve know Lee and Mandy for close to twenty years and can’t say enough good things about them and their business. We had been having issues with our shower since we built our house in 2018. We couldn’t get them to fix our shower that had grout that was being washed away when water hit it, cracked tiles and other issues that our builders wasn’t wanting to fix. We called Lee and he immediately sent over his tile guy who came out and and gave us a report and also put us in touch with others who confirmed that our shower wasn’t installed or constructed properly or to code. When we came to our builder with the new findings he had no choice but to rip it down. Thanks to Lee and his crew we were able to finally get to use our shower and enjoy all the upgrades we paid for when we built our home. Lee didn’t have to do this and didn’t have to help us but he did and it goes to show you what a kind person he is. If we ever get the chance to build a home again we will definitely use Lee and his team!

Great people to deal with. Their quote was less than the other quotes I had gotten. They are personable and professional. The job was done as scheduled and actually the cost came in a little lower than estimated! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional experience that is hassle free! Lee and Mandy are first of all just wonderful people to talk to. And then you have them build you a custom home. Heaven on earth. They did every thing we asked them to do. They kept a great spirit and always explained things to us. I heard people talk about problems with builders, well there was no problem with Upchurch Builders. Lee and Mandy went out of their way to help us and put us at ease. The best thing is we got the home of our dreams. I thank God He led us to Lee and Mandy. I know if any of you are looking for a great builder. all you got to do is go to Lee and Mandy at Upchurch Builders.
Lee and Mandy were amazing to work with. They were very receptive to numerous changes my wife and I made throughout the build process and were always happy to change direction if needed. Lee and Mandy are great people and getting our Generac was pretty hassle free outside of dealing with MLGW....lol.....They are very transparent, listen to the customer and attentive! They strive to make sure you have a good experience through the transaction. Now all I need is a power outage from MLGW so I can sit back and enjoy my home still having power.......I am sure it will happen sooner than later....lol.
