The rep I spoke to was very knowledgable and courteous. We received a really great quote. I definitely recommend this place to other medical facilities, they go above and beyond the standard. Their staff provides better customer services than some of the other vendors we were looking at.

After researching many ultrasound companies for prices , UMI provided the best prices by far . Very knowledgeable on different brands and what works best for each modality based on brand of machine . Will definitely use them again .
Great machines, great prices, great service. Bought two machines over 25 years and when my last one conked out just before retirement, Mr. Ghanavati rented one at rock bottom prices. Very fair and a pleasure to deal with.
I wish I could give this place six stars. Couldn't believe how much they were willing to work with me to find the right machine at the right price. I did my homework before I went shopping. They were able to get me into a machine that was a lot nicer than what I thought I could afford. This was my first ultrasound machine purchase and they made it very easy. Super nice people. Highly recommend them and I will go back myself.
This company has been amazing. Their sale staff were kind and courteous. They showed us seven different machines before we found one that would work well for our needs. They spent a great deal of time walking us through the different machines and the options that each offered. They allowed us to bring physicians from our clinics into their offices to try out the machines. We could not have had a better experience. By the time We had finished with our comparative analysis we were able to buy with a lot of confidence. We knew we were getting an excellent value. They even sent a trainer into one of our clinics that was all the way out in Salinas to make sure that we had a seamless integration with our doctors and patients needs on site. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone looking for ultrasound equipment. Whether it’s your first machine for your fifth machine you’ll get the best service and value.
Our experience here at Orthopedic Ultrasound, Inc we we specialize in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging. Having the right equipment is key., Working with United Medical Instruments was extremely helpful and has led us to use our very favorite piece of Ultrasound equipment ; a Terrason 3300. Anytime we have had a question or concern or needed service, they have made it extremely easy to communicate and get the service we need in timely fashion. We are very satisfied customers.
My first purchase was a good experience as a I got a great unit at a great price. When I went back to them for another unit, I put my trust in them. My mistake. I was sold a terrible machine and for the past year, I have had nothing but problems with the company trying to place blame on me for several issues. Medical equipment is not cheap and I don't appreciate spending thousands of dollars for terrible support. I would encourage you to do your research and buy new.
