Two Birds One Stone

The reason this got 3-stars is mostly the nice river-side atmosphere. Parking is paid on the street and can be difficult to get a spot. It also isn't too close to the building. Service was not good. The staff were friendly, but not attentive. We were there for 3 hours and only one sever came up. When going to the bar to order, it took a while because the bartender was just having casual conversations with other people that already had their orders. He didnt seem to care to serve anyone else. It wasn't too busy. There was a mandatory 20% tip on all checks so it felt like the staff didn't care at all. I would not recommend this place and don't plan on going back. There are plenty of other places that have better service and amenities.

Spencer was a great bartender and made an amazing suggestion with the apple cider sour. We got the Fried chicken BBQ pizza. It was fantastic, had a little bit of spicy that makes it really good with some really soft fluffy dough it was the perfect meal for two, spent about 35 for the pizza and 2 beers. The vibes here are perfect the location is really pretty even worth coming during winter it's really quiet. Not as overpriced when compared to anything else

I've been here twice, and both times had amazing service and had very kind servers. The first time I went, the bartender walked through the whole list of drafts and gave recommendations. The second time, I had a great server who gave us a taster glass of two beers, one being a mix of two beers that went really well together. I've only ordered the 'One Stone' app plate, which was pretty solid. I would say the food here is a little on the pricy side. This is a great place to chill outside and watch the river or a game.

Great place if you are just getting drinks and good location for hanging out. Good outdoor area and very pet friendly. On the other hand, the food. The food was extremely disappointing from the size to the quality and the time. It is hard to tell if there is table service or counter service, they have both apparently. It took a long time for a server to come over and start our orders. We ended up waiting over an hour for our food to come out. For the price and serving size, it leaves much to be desired. We ordered the KC brisket philly and fish sandwich. The philly was small and a little dry, could use a sauce. The fish sandwich didnt come its tartar sauce and the salt & vinegar chips were unseasoned and chewy/ tough. It appears that when the kitchen is swamped, they close it without notice and dont inform customers of the long wait times. Its a real shame since there are so few restaurants nearby but there are a few ways they could fix it: 1: Limit the menu to apps and snack foods 2: Partner with food trucks for events or busy days Would love to see this business do well, but we are giving time before we come back so hopefully the problems are fixed. Edit: Noticed my card got charged twice for two different amounts. It probably added up to the right amount, but I am confused why it was charged as two tickets when it was paid out as one tab.

I’ve been twice now, cannot wait for the patio to open up. It overlooks the river. They have all local rotating beers on tap. Food is delicious, cocktails are great. Service is great. 10/10

The only reason I’m giving this two stars is for the ambience… Has a really nice outdoor seating area by the river. Other than that, my husband and I were initially greeted and that was great. We were really excited to eat here then we waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited. No one came to our table, so my husband had to go to the bar to order where he waited and waited and waited and waited and waited. Finally, we flagged someone down put in our order after we’ve been sitting over 30 minutes. We finally put in our order and our server comes back and asks me if I can change my sandwich to a tortilla wrap so we ended up just leaving because the service was just awful, which is really sad because it’s looks like a really cool place. I work in a service base industry, and I was so disappointed with the Customer Service here

We have been here twice. The first time was for lunch and they were out of several items that we tried to order, so it was not the best experience overall. We decided to try it again for a late dinner. We arrived after a soccer game with our kids and got in line to order food shortly after being seated. There was a decent size line, so by the time we got to the front to order food they told us the kitchen closed 5 minutes ago (at 9:05pm). When they seated us they could have easily told us the kitchen was closing soon and we would have just left (we had kids with us, clearly we are not staying for just drinks). There was also no sign saying the kitchen closed at 9, so we assumed it was the hours posted on their website (10pm). That is our second disappointing experience here. The atmosphere is cool but it seems to be pretty poorly ran based on our experiences. We won’t be back.

The staff is amazing, Chris, Kelsey, Ashton, Shea, Spencer and all the others are wonderful. The general manager Stephen and Chef Rob are the best. Lovely environment and location with great food and drinks.

We really Like it, when you come to an establishment and people can talk and have a good time work. Things out and things are great. Nobody's perfect. We all try to walk and be the best person in a good version. As we was the day before, this place here is great. Nice, beautiful, and welcome to kansas city where we try to help each other you wanna knock out a couple things food? Eat, knock it out with 2 birds and one stone.

We ate there today,the first thing the server said was we need to give her a credit card before we could order, the food was okay the service was bad. The menu had the time posted for 11:00AM they didn't open until noon. They also added a 20% top to all checks. 5 people were in the restaurant yet we had to look for our server. I eat out every day, I will not come back.
