Two Birds One Stone

Two Birds One Stone is a gem on Kansas City’s riverfront! My partner and I had an absolute blast at this lively beer garden, conveniently located right next to our hotel and offering stunning views of the Missouri River. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, blending sports bar charm with a modern, open vibe—perfect for kicking back with friends or soaking in the scenery. Our servers, Spencer and Abbi, were fantastic! They were friendly, attentive, and quick with recommendations, making our experience even better. The beer selection is a highlight, with nearly two dozen local taps featuring brews from favorites like Boulevard and Cinder Block. Every beer we tried was crisp and refreshing, and the Mediterranean-inspired menu paired perfectly with our drinks. The Mezze Platter was a standout—fresh, flavorful, and great for sharing. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Two Birds One Stone is a must-visit for great beers, awesome service, and a prime location. We’ll definitely be back!

We came to the restaurant for a friends birthday party. The food was good, the drinks were decent. The general manager is the absolute worst. Our friend had to much to drink on her bday and he made several very rude comments. He was super disrespectful, condescending, and unbelievable. He basically asked my wife if she had a handicap. Making hand gestures. We spent over $1500 at this place and nobody from the party will go back there. We talked to a waitress after the incident. She informed us it’s normal behavior, he treats them the same way. They are beneath him, and he “owns” them. They just keep their head down to avoid issues. I have informed the main company “tandem hospitality group” of this behavior. Just got a “I’m sorry this happened”. I hope they take further actions and investigate further for the sake of the restaurant. It was a very nice environment before all this happened.

My girlfriends and I stopped in and had the best time! The service was amazing both upstairs in the speakeasy and downstairs at the main bar. Drinks were wonderful and food came out fast! The bar manager was amazing.

A fantastic new spot to provide a much needed drinking and hang-out establishment in the Riverfront area! The overall quality, preparation, and presentation of the food and drink options was far above what we were expecting, especially with the novelty of the business. The service seemed a bit overburdened by the crowd loads however, so this led to a less than attentive environment from staff. I’m hoping that’s just a short term issue, and more folks are hired on soon! The coming streetcar connection will make accessing this business that much easier, but even for the time being we had no issues. Free and abundant parking lines the entire riverfront, and the trail makes walking from RiverMarket or the surrounding areas easy and enjoyable. If you’re looking for any type of drink, alcoholic or otherwise, or a good bite with a stellar environment, we cannot recommend this place enough! We look forward to coming back soon!

We found ourselves here to enjoy the views hanging out by the Missouri River for the breezes and a sunset. Breezes and a beautiful sunset didn’t disappoint. What we found was also great food menu, great selection of local beers, reasonable prices and nice people. I’ll be back.

Alright guys, you’ve read it on a lot of other reviews… Maybe one of these will reach the owners. If an establishment like this isn’t ready to open, then hash out the kinks and open when you’re ready. Service is slow and prices are high. The pros are the atmosphere and location. It’s cool to have a beer garden next to the river. KC doesn’t have that yet. But for the quality of food, and the fact you don’t brew your own beer, there’s no reason to charge cocktail lounge type prices. You’re going to lose a lot of clientele before you’ve even had a chance to see your potential. I saved this place on google maps because I was so excited to come check it out. Probably won’t be back anytime soon unfortunately

Really awesome to have this on the riverfront. Great selection and ample seating. Perfect place to catch the game.
