I bought a studio apt (coop) in Hell's Kitchen that was pretty worn last summer. Karima, Lance and company were amazing. I find big projects daunting and my place needed a lot to be transformed from a dingy place to a light and open living space. Their work was flawless. From painting and redoing floors to fixing things and installing lighting. Beautiful work. Meticulous and gorgeous. Always listening and really wonderful. Clean and thorough. So above and beyond. They also made it affordable and were sensitive to my limited budget. I cannot say enough and I am forever grateful to have found them.
Install team was professional with me and our building staff, on-time and thoughtful about the project. They helped me install updated kitchen cabinets and countertops into an older kitchen, requiring good attention to detail and creativity to accommodate less than square walls and legacy fittings. Installer gave me good ideas to design around the electric hookups to avoid the cost of a minor reconfiguration. All around good value to save myself a ton of headache of DIY or hiring a GC. Support this small business!!
When you're spending a lot of money to remodel a kitchen, you want to make sure the installation is done correctly. Without hassle. Every employee who showed up at our apartment was courteous, responsive, professional, even pleasant. They did a great job on the installation and even came back months later to finish a small part of the job that slipped through the cracks up front. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.
They get everything right! Excellent communication from starting the design process through the last cleaning. Very high standard of workmanship. My schedule presented additional challenges, and all wrapped up perfectly on schedule. Extra effort was put in to source materials and remain budget conscious (this was during the Covid-19 supply shortage). Working with Turn Key has been an outstanding experience throughout the process. I would not hesitate. They will be my first call for anything in the future.
I worked with IKEA to buy kitchen cabinets and Turn Key Design, Treamand, to install those cabinets in my NYC residence. This was my third kitchen remodel in last few years having used Porcelanous cabinets for my DC and FL residences. While there were lots of issues with IKEA, Stephanie of Turn Key Design handled my installation and made what was a very difficult experience with IKEA worked for me. She went out of her way to help me navigate the many issues with IKEA which resulting in a great final product. She was always immediately responsive to my issues with IKEA and made the entire process possible. She knows her business, able to get things done and done right, and is a pleasure to work with. He installed my kitchen but helped with many other things. He is professional and honest and really good at problem solving to help my kitchen installation work well. His prices are very reasonable and i feel i trust him to get my kitchen done the right way. He will continue to work with me and i will review after he completes my other work. I’m very happy with him.
The experience was initially great. The installer fixed the faulty plans from IKEA and finished up over the weekend. Most of the cabinet pieces from IKEA was incorrect and the contractor sent me the right pieces to purchase. The only problem I had was the follow up to put in a filler. I tried to reach the original contractor who wouldn’t return my calls for several days until I said I would be contacting Traemand directly. The following day, he sent someone who doesn’t work for the company but works under him. Although I didn’t like that, I was just relieved to be done with the project and back and forth.
