The shop itself is quirky and “hippie.” Reminds me of how Austin was in the 90’s. This is how thrift stores should be. Prices are fair and selection is huge. The store is packed, and might be difficult with strollers or wheelchair. The owner, or manager, on the other hand is rude. I was shopping a tight aisle and she literally took over where I was standing to give an employee directions on how to hang pants. She didn’t acknowledge me or excuse herself. As if I was invisible. I said, “Oh excuse me, let me get out of your way” in a normal speaking voice. Nothing. No response. I was absolutely shocked on how rudely she pushed me out of the way. No self awareness at all. I’d shop here more often, but not to support a rude hippy.
Love this Thrift store. They do so much for the community. Free kids clothes and toys, a food pantry and I believe most all the clothes are $3.50. I donate everything to them, plus pick up a few things before I leave
I love everything about The Thrifty Hippie and their mission. I was just there today to drop off a car load of clothing, games, blankets, and food. Then I shopped there as well. I highly HIGHLY recommend that you stop in to see for yourself, follow them on socials and donate if you can.✌️
Friendly, Knowledgeable Staff! Local Food Pantry there, to help anyone! Clothes are extremely reasonable! Free Children Clothing/Toys, free to those that need Them! Most Donations excepted.
I was very impressed with the store as soon as I walked in. It has friendly staff, great prices, and a lot of unique pieces. It definitely is one of the best thrift stores in town.
Amazing little thrift store with a heart of gold. They are dedicated to the mission of helping our homeless population and children in poverty. Great place we all should support.

Cute little thrift store. There is so much packed into a small space, but they game a lot to choose from. The pups walking around were very calm and cute.

Amazing patient people, greeted my family and I with care and let me know where I might find things since it was my first time in. Amazing prices that are actually thrift store prices, which was really nice and refreshing to see 100 percent would come back n buy and donate
