Do not ever use this place if you can avoid them. We fought them 2 months ago for 3 weeks on money that is obviously already ours. Here I am a month and a half later and I have to fight them again because they are too stupid to send out payments. You know. Their job. I recommend everybody do what I'm going to do and just sue the crap out of these people. They do nothing but cause pain and Agony and stress. Absolutely, the worst of the worst

The Hartford does not function in an efficient and professional manner. I started my claim in August for my knee surgery that was scheduled in November. Two days following my knee surgery, when I should be recuperating and resting, I had to go out to my md's office to get medical information that was needed to complete my claim. I went for my follow-up visit to get my return to work date and letter. I sent the information in to a claim representative, my claim representative, and I sent it online. It was sent in 3 times. My claim for the last 3 weeks was not approved until the day I went back to work. This caused me not to get a payroll check, which caused a mess with my finances, creating return fees and late fees. I was told that I could not be compensated for the mess The Hartford company created. Lastly, I believe I was not paid the correct amount for my payroll payment. I inquired about it, and no one returned my call to discuss this matter. This company has been declared a Fortune 500 company. The CEO, Christopher Swift, is allowing this company to operate in a manner. This is so unfortunate.

A horrifying non efficient company. It's all a scam. I called for a quote and gave them my banking information to join AARP, in less than 24 hours I was charged for insurance without my approval. I called immediately and was told it was an error and I would get my refund in 4-5 days. It's been 8 days and no refund. I call them back and they tell me a refund was never been processed and I will now get it in 3 days. However they told me I have a $500 balance due for cancelling a policy I never had. This company is a nightmare. I'm seeking legal advise.

The Hartford Hustle We canceled the plan, we paid what was due, Then switched to a company shiny and new. Their hoops were on fire, their patience quite thin, Each form a small labyrinth we had to begin. Weeks rolled on by—still no refund in sight, Each call met with “soon,” then silence each night. Their “service” is service in name but not deed, They plant inconvenience and water with greed. So here’s my advice, should you ever enlist: Beware of their charm and the fine-print twist. They’ll gladly take payments both large and in full, But refund your money? You’ll chase that old bull.

I have had a terrible experience using this insurance company. Communication is horrible and customer service is even worse. I have worked with 3 different analysts and I have yet been helped. No one has answers to anything nor can tell me why my case has been denied. I have to call everyday and each time getting sent to voicemail with no call back during that business day and sometimes days after. I have been without pay for 3 pay checks now. This company has forced me to go without pain medication and also medical treatment from appointment because I haven’t received any pay to afford it causing MORE pain overtime. I was also threatened over the phone to have my case closed and denied by the first analyst because she didn’t like that I have been frustrated and confused. This is supposed to be support for me during this time and instead has been EXTREMELY frustrating and stressful. On top of being disabled this has been the worst experience for me. I am not satisfied at all. My job has even been put at risk due to lack of communication. It has been evident from my doctor, physical therapist and employer that I can not work and still received this outcome. This is beyond disappointing when this is what I pay for every pay period. I would never trust this company again to have this to fall back on when I have a medical issue.

Incredibly disappointed with my auto insurance company be Hartford. I was in a car accident six weeks ago and I have his little information now on my vehicle as I did the first week it happened. Relentlessly calling different departments not having anybody return my phone call is the most frustrating experience I’ve probably ever encountered. The lack of urgency and the completely on ability to be transparent with what is going on is beyond frustrating. I would never recommend this company, not even to my worst enemy, and I do not leave bad reviews lightly. This accident has been a nightmare, and every single aspect and the insurance company is making it that much worse

I had my truck in the driveway, when another truck was pulling a trailer and it came unattached. The trailer rolled up on to my driveway hitting my truck. Called Hartford to find out what I needed to do. They told me it was my responsibility to take care of everything and if I want them to help me I need to up my Insurance plan. I needed a car rental and Hartford wouldn't even help me, it was the other guy Insurance that helped me and found me a place where I can get a car. They claim they save you 200.00 to 300.00 on Insurance but that is a lie, because after I got my truck back I found a different car insurance and I pay way less with them and get more in my insurance plan.
