The Greenhouse Bar

Decided to grab a bite to eat and something to drink before I headed off to the gym. The pictures from previous reviews along with them being LBGTQ+ owned caught my eye. When I walked inside, i immediately felt like the pictures from the reviews I saw online did not do this place enough justice. It’s HUGE inside. LOTS of plants, plant care items, and miscellaneous items to look at and potentially purchase.They have little informational flyers spread throughout the shop that educate people on certain types of plants, and events coming up. They have a variety of coffee, tea, and wine options which definitely left me feeling indecisive when ordering because they all seemed very appealing (coffee & matcha for me). I ended up getting the Cherry Almond Matcha which was sweet with a hint of cherry and almond flavoring. The complimentary flavors were not overpowering like I was slightly worried about. And the Greenhouse Breakfast sandwich was AMAZING. Lots of spinach was added onto my sandwich, but the egg, sauce and avocado made up for it. I’ll definitely be returning again. The atmosphere was too inviting and captivating not too, and the staff was nice.

The Greenhouse Bar is very aesthetically pleasant and well furnished, with lots of plants which you can purchase and a cozy atmosphere. It also feels very hipster & bougie lol. While I did really enjoy the aesthetics, I found the drinks only passable. My dad got a hot latte which he didn't enjoy. I got their specialty matcha which came with lavender; I thought it was alright, but for such high prices (matcha around $9), I'd want it to be better than alright. I also got a vegan cookie, which I actually did really enjoy. Overall, they do have some really interesting drinks on the menu & I'd consider coming back. But I'd consider this place as more of a special treat and not somewhere I'd regularly go

I had a jasmine tea here and it was absolutely wonderful—the aroma was so calming and the flavor was rich yet delicate. It was so good I already want to come back. The staff was incredibly kind, and the interior design was both stylish and soothing, making me feel like I was tucked away in nature. It’s rare to find a café with this much charm and thoughtful detail. Even the restroom was spotless, and all the guests around me seemed genuinely happy and relaxed. This place truly has a peaceful, welcoming energy. I was so thirsty that I took a few sips before remembering to take the photo!

This is a dangerous place to go to if you are a plant lover! They have very nice plants that are well taken care of and are fun to browse through while you are drinking a coffee or alcoholic drink. I chose the matcha latte which was very yummy.There is also a parking garage right next door that the place validates your parking for which makes it very easy and a no brainer to come visit! I will definitely be back to try the food since I loved everything about this place!

While I only stopped by for a coffee, I noticed a charming bar setup that likely comes alive during late-night hours. **Facilities:** The establishment is clean and offers a good amount of seating both inside and outside, catering to different preferences for socializing or enjoying some quiet time. **Parking:** There is parking available around the back, but it's not the best and there isn't a lot of it available. Yes, that's Riverside for you. It can be a bit challenging to find a spot, especially during busy times. **Important Note:** If you're biking to The Greenhouse Bar, be sure to lock up your bike. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way when my bike was stolen during a quick trip inside. A bike rack to lock bikes would be a nice addition to enhance security for cyclists. Overall, The Greenhouse Bar is a delightful spot with a unique ambiance and a variety of offerings. Amazing service from Mav! she was so sweet from the beginning and made us feel so welcomed. Kales made our drinks so well and made me fall in love with matcha lol. will definitely be coming back as often as possible

A wonderful little café! They have a very large variety of specially crafted unique coffees which are all amazing! The ambiance inside is very cutesy and also earthy with all of the variety of plants on display. It’s family friendly and big enough to allow for our double stroller! Definitely recommend checking it out as it is much better than any chain coffee shop!

This gem 😍seamlessly blends a charming plant shop with a killer twist – their pizza grilled cheese is an absolute delight! Also try their old fashion latte, it’s the best ever ! The lush greenery creates a cozy atmosphere, the people working their are so sweet making this a unique and inviting spot for plant lovers, food enthusiasts, and those who appreciate a good cup of coffee.

Their menu has something for everyone from expertly crafted espresso drinks and creative seasonal coffees to wine, beer and cocktails. I especially love their specialty drinks and seasonal favorites that always hit the spot. The food and small bites are delightful alongside your beverage, and the space itself feels like a peaceful urban oasis with a calm, stylish design that keeps customers coming back. The Greenhouse Bar has quickly become one of my favorite local spots and an essential part of our Riverside community.
