I highly recommend booking The Grand Hall for your wedding! The team there was so helpful leading up to the day and they made sure everything went perfectly. It was the perfect amount of space for our 250 guests and we got a ton of comments during and after the event from our guests raving about the beauty of the place and how perfectly set up it was. I am so happy that this was the venue for our big day!
We had our wedding at the Grand Hall in September and it could not have gone better! From the moment we walked into the space when searching for a venue, we knew it had to be here! The architecture creates a romantic, timeless feel that that requires minimal decorating. Working with Becky was seamless. She handled coordination before the event and during the event with ease and allowed ourselves and guests to enjoy the event freely without concern. We have gotten so many compliments on the beauty of the space and from our guests and could not have asked for a better experience. I would HIGHLY recommend the Grand Hall for your next event.
A fantastic renovation to the entire building has rendered a beautiful space to host events. Went to a friends wedding last year, and indeed it is laid out very nicely. There is a large upper level for cocktails and appetizers, and a lower level which wad once a grand lobby for events. The ornate details and marble flooring help to make it a classy venue. Bar service was a bit of a hassle, and caterer did not have enough vegan/alternative meals for table, which left several at table without entrees. All in all, friends reception was beautiful.
OH. MY. GOSH. Can I get married again?? The Grand Hall is without a doubt the most beautiful venue I have ever seen, and I cannot believe I get to say that we had our wedding reception there. McCall and the whole Grand Hall team made our day incredibly organized, beautiful, and easy, we haven't stopped talking about it. My husband and I had time to go to the top of the building, just us two to take photos which was an amazing time to spend together, and the mezzanine floor was perfect for our cocktail hour. So many of our guests have said that this was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Although I am biased since it was mine, I cannot wait to attend another wedding at the Grand Hall to experience the beauty again. Thank you Grand Hall team! We are so appreciative of everything you did to make our day perfect.
The Grand Hall was the first venue I toured after I got engaged and nothing else could compare to it after! Talk about love at first site! The classic elegance of the building is unmatched and the service of the staff is the same! McCall was so helpful through out the entire planning process and made sure everything was perfect and smooth on the day of! The bridal suite is the best in Kansas City and I took advantage of the early entry to spend the morning getting ready there and relaxing with my bridal party. The grand staircases leading down to the ceremony and reception area were exactly what I was looking for and allowed for a one of kind entrance. 5 stars all around! I hope to experience the venue again as a guest in the future!

Not only is Grand Hall a gorgeous venue, but they have a great team to work with that exceeded our expectations. Mallory and Dom were a joy to work with and made sure we were happy every step of the way, even on the day of the wedding. While Grand Hall was one of the more expensive options we considered, the spend was worth every penny with all the extra benefits, fantastic team, and all the elegance that is Grand Hall. Our guests were raving about the venue all night, would highly recommend.

The beauty of The Grand Hall at Power & Light will speak for itself! Its beauty paves the way for those fairytale type weddings you’ve always heard about but have never seen. And that’s exactly what happened for us. Our wedding was an absolute fairytale, and our photos at The Grand Hall prove it! But what made us decide to choose this venue wasn’t just the aesthetics of the space or extraordinary bride/groom suites, it was the incredible, one-of-a-kind staff! Our wedding planning lasted nearly two years because of Covid and throughout the entire process, Tyler and Dom were the most patient, kind, and helpful people we could have hoped for! They answered endless questions and helped make decisions we were struggling with making on our own. They treated us (and all of our vendors) like royalty! Fast forward to the day of our wedding/reception, and the entire staff of The Grand Hall was just as amazing as Dom and Tyler! They all worked together to help get us our incredible photos, made sure we felt comfortable, and made sure all of our guests were taken care of. We had the best day of our lives and The Grand Hall & staff played such a big part in that. We can’t recommend this venue enough and hope to use it to renew vows in a couple decades!
Gorgeous place. It is by far the most beautiful hall around KC. We are in town once a year for an even that takes place there and it is more stunning each year. I was blown away that there were apartments above the hall that actually get to experience that building every day.
