This is one of the larger bars of the King Street District. They have live music on the patio sometimes. The drinks are ok and the service is good. The food is pretty good. The garage sauce and ruffles is a signature Riverside appetizer at this point. I usually have to sit outside if I want to hear the person I'm with.
Fun place to be with all the backyard games you can play. Food was not so hot. Drinks seemed to be satisfying everyone. Loud music and cool atmosphere. Every table was wobbly. I checked the whole Bar section sugar packets and napkins couldn't fix their problems.
4.5 probably. Being from out of town, we were taken there by a local. Their first time as well. Nice spot for hanging out with friends. Reasonable drink prices. Didn't have food though, so can't comment on that. Live music was awesome! Guy was 🔥
Garage is a solid spot with multiple bars and a nice patio. Great displays of classic cars. Staff was awesome too. It would be really fun to catch a game here.
First time going. Not really a bar going out type of person but this was a really chill spot. Shout out to the bartender Frank made me and my party really good drinks and who ever was the only person cooking. Definitely would recommend !
More chill than other King St bars. very, very helpful & friendly staff! Great place.
Good drinks, great food, fantastic service. Nice place to hang out with friends. Definitely for a younger crowd. Would give 5 stars, but the staff was talking about a group of patrons right by our table. I know it's a bar, but a certain degree of professionalism is appreciated.
I am very upset and disappointed in the way I was treated this past Saturday at the Garage's St. Patrick's Day party. I was at the Garage between 3-7pm and had a total of 3 drinks within that 4 hours (I was not drunk whatsoever). I got up to use the restroom at one point and started to feel dizzy. I proceeded to pass out, and when I regained consciousness, the only help I received was from a woman who did not even work there. A security team member assumed I was drunk and insisted that I leave the premises immediately. At this point, I was still very dizzy and could not walk. My friends tried to explain to him that I was sober and that this was a medical issue, but he either did not believe them or did not care. I received no help from any staff member of the Garage and was kicked out for doing absolutely nothing wrong. I tried to come back 5 hours later after I had rehydrated and eaten some food. However, the same security officer kicked me out again for no reason. He said I was not welcome back that day, which made absolutely no sense because I had never done anything wrong. The Garage was one of my favorite places to go in the Riverside area, but I will not be going back solely because of the way I was treated. I am extremely disappointed.
Love this place! They have a great outside seating area and usually a good musical performer of some kind. The bartenders are friendly and never scoff when I ask them to make a complicated drink. The prices of drinks aren't super cheap but doable and the atmosphere is eclectic. If you want to play games you can enjoy life size Jenga or a round of corn hole. Overall a cool place!
Great tasting food, decent service, good drinks, fun games, etc. Outdoor seating is nice. Bit on the expensive side. Loud when crowded and late night crowd is pretty rowdy. Always a wait for service, food or bill. Had good and bad experiences. Recommend the red velvet cupcakes. Overall decent place.
