If you haven’t stopped into Taps you’re truly missing out and need to correct that immediately! Just stopped into this amazing establishment on Monday and was greeted with superb service. The facility itself was extremely clean all staff in mask and were very attentive. To my surprise I had the incredible opportunity to meet the owner himself Grant! Really down to earth, cares for his patrons and open minded about what’s happening in the world today along with how he and his staff are handling it. To close out this review I was introduced to a new addition to the menu that luckily I was the first to try, the “Philly Tots”!!! It brought the best of both worlds in breakfast to a lunch sandwich fashion in a bowl. No bun necessary, the philly steak with bell peppers and mushrooms perfectly made, place that on top of the tots for the crunch and wow, finally topping that for the finish with cheesy goodness and I’m in heaven! Again if you haven’t stopped in yet you should!!!!! Also get there famous chicken dip it’s amazingly mouth watering!!

This place rocks! I had a burger, brussel sprouts, corn nuggets, fried green beans and 2 amazing local brews. The corn nugs and beans came with their own unique dipping sauce. Excellent service and the price is almost too good to be true. Wish we had one of these back home. Cheers 😋

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant! The ambiance was lovely, and the food and service were outstanding. We had the pleasure of bringing our furry friend along, and we enjoyed the patio seating. Although I must deduct one star and give it a rating of four stars instead of five, it was solely due to the extended wait time of approximately one hour for our food. However, the server excelled in keeping us informed about the delay, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

I loved the little outdoor patio space! The food & service was great too. Food came out fast. Served was very attentive & helped with recommendations. Food tasted great too! Definitely recommend the beer cheese with tots!

Great place to grab a beer, especially if you like to pick from specialty ones on tap. Simply go up to the bartender give them your debit card. They give you a white card that you can go up to any tap and swipe and pour as much beer as you want, and that card stays with you until the end And then you will go up to the Bar Tender and tab out and they will use your debit card to tap out when you are done! ✔️

My husband and I have been coming here for the past five years, and I have to say—this was one of our best experiences yet. Kenzie was absolutely outstanding. She’s incredibly personable, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond. She made sure our dog had water (which meant so much to us), kept our drinks full, and made sure we were completely happy with our food the entire time. We dine out often, and what really stands out is when a place makes you feel like family—and that’s exactly how Kenzie made us feel. On top of that, she has great energy, fun tattoos, and made the whole experience even better with easy, enjoyable conversation. Perfect vibe for the Crossroads Art District. A+ all the way—we’ll definitely be back!

Really neat place. Lots of beers on tap. You pour your own and pay just for what you get. I didn't try it. Can't comment on quality. The burger was great. The tater tots were great. Good value. My friend had an Old Fashioned, loved it. Had a melt, loved it. Really friendly efficient staff.

Great little spot downtown. We walked in to the bar and noticed the long row of taps. It was explained to us how the operation works. You pay by the oz. And on average was .60 cents per oz. You load a card up with funds or attach a credit card so that you can freely pour your own beer The food for the bar would be considered mid to upscale bar food. I was kinda hungry so I forgot to take pictures but I did get the pulled pork BBQ grilled cheese which was good. I like the concept. It's pretty fun so I definitely give it a try.

This is a great place for beer. I'm a big sour fan and their selection of sours is limited, but there's always a couple. The atmosphere during the day (before 5p) is comfortable and chill. The evening crowd is a little different, and I would recommend that you try it during the day before you try it in the evening. You will like it better. Pay close attention to the ABV on the beers because they like to put beers out that are 6% or higher. I don't mind those some of the time, but if I'm going to drink more beer I prefer to be 5% or less. This place is well worth your time and a must stop beer place in Kansas City.
