This is the best subway I have been. I live out by Gresham and this was wonderful. Joe is amazing he was a great help and he is very kind! You rock Joe and I hope everything stays just wonderfully for you and the store. Definitely stopping by here when I come around here!
The red head guy that works there makes a terrible sandwhich and is rude. The ladies that work there are great. They take the time to make things correctly. The guy just throws things around and skimps on toppings. He really seems to have anger issues. I can tell the other employees walk on egg shells around him too. Definitely would not recommend if he's working. I know I won't be back..
Update this place is so lacking in service. Just went in to try it again and waited over 3 min and no one was upfront and he ignored the doorbell most likely since he had headphones in and doesn't pay attention. They really need to improve service and retrain employees. Needless to say I left with out any food or service. They have now lost me for good. I have been coming here in the morning for quick bite to eat but may now go elsewhere. The morning staff come off as very rude and seems to be bothered to make a sandwich for you. When I asked for vegies I had to ask for more 2 times. He put 1 peice of pepper 2 peices of an olive. So I asked for more. He put 1 more peice of pepper and no more olives. Won't go for breakfast anymore the guy is always rude. The afternoon staff is awesome though.
I work downtown that's why I come in for lunch. I don't get why they always have one person working during the lunch rush. I have only 30 minutes and sometimes the line is so long I can't get anything for lunch. Hire more people I know you are losing sales.
Resist temptation, don’t try the foot long pretzel, if you do, do not expect it to be soft and tasty with a freshness about it because you will be very disappointed. It is chewy and taste like stale bread and they will charge you money for the Chieese sauce. It is not included in the price, the service was friendly.
I absolutely LOVE this location. People remember me and my order and it is always an enjoyable experience to visit. Great food, freshly made, usually good quality. I will say there have been a couple of times where the product wasn't fresh - usually just the bread is stale. Anyways, great food, great workers, quick and accurate. Great job guys!
I’d recommend the other location a few blocks away. This location never has orders for pickup ready by the pickup time. I ordered 40 minutes before pickup, arrived 5 minutes after my designated pickup time, and still had to wait another 10 minutes for them to make my order. What’s the point of ordering ahead if they don’t start your order until you’re at the restaurant?
i've gotten food poisoning that left me in bed the last 3 times i went here. i asked my usual server what was going on and he told me the manager, Michael something, has been putting out the same meat 2-3 days in a row. i'm posting this in hopes it prevents others from ending up with what i had. over the past 4 months i've run out of paid sick days because of his irresponsibility.
The people that work here are just outstanding. I work for a large corporation so I understand why they have the number of employees they have. No restaurant downtown provides both counter and drive through service..... However, this place is immaculate, even the restroom looks great. I'm asked how much sauce or veggies, ect I want, I get exactly I ask for. Anything I order, it's prepared quickly, every time. Everything is fresh. I like their new offer of meal of the day. I've noticed that if I take a late lunch, I have more luck avoiding the typical lunch line. Looking forward to my next visit.
This is the best subway downtown. Don’t even mess with that one up at PSU until they get their act together and get that place clean. This place is nice. And it’s what a Subway should be. The kids and I go after school so it’s technically not like the peak hour. You know. It’s server time to reset for dinner. Maybe eat take a break. And here we come trucking in. But you know what? They always real nice to us and the place is spotless. I’m telling ya. This Subway, I’ve been going there 30 years cuz I used to work downtown and I did one time design a sandwich for them. It’s a good one.
