Stunning Tours

I had a great experience with Stunning Tours when I introduced them to one of my friends who were planning to visit China and Japan. The staff provided comfortable schedules and knowledgeable guides throughout their trip, and made sure they have a pleasant experience. If you have anyone comes to you and ask for recommendations as he/she is planning a trip to Asia. Go tell them about Stunning and they’ll be pleased with their trustworthy service and great price, and you’ll gain your reputation for sure.

My parents and I had a fun time exploring Japan on this tour (9D Splendid Japan with Nagoya (private 3 star hotel rooms)! We went in early December 2024. Our tour guide, Ben, was very nice, engaging, helpful, and very knowledgable of our destinations. Despite the drives being long, the coach rides were comfortable and scenic that I never got bored. I think every tour and stop we made was interesting and fun. For critiques, I feel that most of the hotels felt safe, clean, and had good quality. However, the Tokyo one was too far from the city center. For the Tokyo stop, the accommodations were in Koto City which was at least 45 min - 1hr away from the main tourist sites (Shinjuku, Shibuya, etc.). This was inconvenient if we had to stop back at the hotel to drop stuff off and since the trains stop around midnight, we had a time limit to get back or else we'd have to pay for expensive taxi's/ubers. For the tour company, please choose a hotel that is closer to the city center in Tokyo since it is a 2 hour round trip for those on tour which cuts off a lot of time during the limited time we have here. We knew coming in there would be limited time in each stop, so if you have time, I recommend getting here a day or 2 early before the tour starts in Osaka and staying a few days after the tour ends in Tokyo. Overall, I recommend this tour if you're a first time visitor since they give you great insights into each city and the tour guide is attentive with you throughout the tour. I just recommend the hotel in Tokyo needs to be changed to something closer to the city center.

Wonderful trip! We were the first tour group to Japan We gone to Osaka-Kyoto- Nagoya-Nagano-Tokyo. It was a bit rushed, but we got to see so many amazing places; so not a bad thing! We were treated to a stay at a Ryokan (traditional Japanese Inn) slept on tatami mat, wore yukata, and ate traditional food (not the best but good). We had a great time. Thanks Stunning Tours!

We went to Japan Nov 2-10. Had a great time. The bus was very comfortable. We had 23 from all over. The tour guide was Yuca and she was a one man show. Looked after all of us. Nice lady. Not a historian but enough information for us. We saw all the important sites you want to see in Japan. The hotels were better than we expected and yes they are small but very comfortable. Breakfast was always good enough. No surprises on the tour. For the price I highly recommend this tour company. My husband didn’t end up going at the last minute but I was able to take my granddaughter at no change charge. Stunning tours promptly answered all my questions before our tour. Again for the price we paid $1660 8 day Japan tour we got a great deal. All eight of us traveling together had a great time.

Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to everyone and it’s exceptional travel experienced. ( Japan March 28 to April 02, 2023) I highly appreciated the services of our tour guide, Mohini Threstha who made our trip unforgettable, very friendly, funny with sense of humor to keep the group alive and laugh especially in a long drive. She’s very accommodating, knowledgeable about the places, restaurants and worked tirelessly to ensure that everything ran smoothly. She navigate extra mile in helping us find stuff or whatever we need. She even helped us or entertained us if we saw her in the hotel. She never failed us to deliver what she had promise inspite of her hectic schedule. We truly appreciated her 100% successful delivery of catering our needs and I loved the places we visited especially the cherry blossoms were everywhere in Japan in full blooms were insanely beautiful. The Hotels were beautiful and it’s clean, also we enjoyed the complimentary Spa. Thank you Stunning Tours for unforgettable stunning experience that will last a lifetime👍❤️😘👏🏻.

UPDATE: ***Just returned from our tour - There is nothing Stunning about Stunning Tours. They missed picking up 3 of the members of our tour from the airport and left us ALL to fend for ourselves to get back to the airport at the end of the tour. Our guide was a sweet lady, but not educated about Japan. I asked if you can drink the water, she said, "Yes, if you boil it" (You can drink the tap water) At the Imperial Palace we saw other tours walking thru the garden but our guide said that wasn't allowed. (One of the people on the tour went there on his own the next day and got into the gardens no problem.) The tour got lost several times, the tour of Hiroshima was listed in our itinerary as an additional $36,000 JPY, then they tried to get us to pay $50,000. I could go on and on... Check out the group pic - notice several thumbs down? All of us were very frustrated. I booked a Japan tour about 3 years ago. I understand the delays due to Covid, but now, they want me to pay more for my tour because they can't use China Air. What good is it to book a tour and pay a deposit if they can add on additional fees on a whim?! UPDATE: We paid an additional $350 for this tour and they waited to book the airfare and now want ANOTHER $300 from us. DO NOT use Stunning Tours

Our trip with Stunning was letter perfect. Japan was awesome and working with Janel was a pleasure. I highly recommend going to Japan saving a lot of money and seeing everything with Stunning. Good 3 star hotels an a itinerary was second to nun. don't forget to purchase all the optional tours with the tour co.

Stunning Tours provided a great tour of China. Good motor coaches, good connections , fantastic scenery. My biggest complaint is that the website says tipping is optional as the travelers see fit. Once you are in country your tips are mandatory, up front ,$10-$20/person per day, so for a family of 4 we had to pay an additional $40 to $80 extra per day which added an extra $500-$1,000 to our trip cost. Be very aware of what is in print and what is expected.

We had a truly amazing time with Stunning Tours in Japan. Everything was very well organized from the initial set up with the Visas and Covid requirements to the tours themselves. We got very lucky with our guide, Mohini. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. She answered all our questions along the way and was able to organize the tours with great efficiency. Everything was smooth from the first to the last day.

This was a wonderful experience except for a little glitch upon arrival at Narita . Otherwise , it was a great fun interesting itinerary despite the crowds. our tour guide ,Riea and our driver, Hero made a perfect team ensuring our safety and comfort. Riea was very knowledgeable with a sense of humor . She showed Japan in different perspectives socially , historically and economically. The hotels were just right in location and of course breakfast buffets were delicious and filling.Riea worked hard to accommodate our requests for extra optional tours , even made reservations even for our kimono sessions. We did not have time to book extra trips because our itinerary was given a little late so we could not plan. But we voiced our plans to Riea and she made them happen. Thanks again for a wonderful trip . Also, met great co travelers in the group! Size of 23 was just right.
