Wow that was by far the best food I have ever eaten. It's clear the cooks care about the food they make and the staff also care about you. They are friendly, talk to and very understanding for dietary restrictions Thank you guys for that amazing service
As always Snooze is amazing. Phenomenal customer service and food is never disappointing!!!!
This place was AMAZING. Its great for a laid back, hearty breakfast or for when you're hungover and need some grease and another drink to get you through the day. My husband and I ate here for a relaxed brunch and the coffee was phenomenal. The food was excellent. The staff were polite and chatty. Highly recommend.
Attentive, friendly, helpful server! Libby's recommendations were spot-on! We will definitely come here again and bring friends! Awesome restaurant!
my daughter and her family and I came in Monday the day after mother's Day to celebrate. Matthew was our server and he ruined our entire experience. we love snooze, as my daughter and I have celiac disease it's really hard to find good food and snooze is great! from the moment we sat down Matt was rude and hostile I asked him if he was having a bad day and he simply replied yes. every interaction with him was short, immensely rude, and had it not been close to closing we would have requested a different server. so although I would recommend the restaurant if we ever have him as a server again we will immediately request another one. I'm so sorry he was having a bad day but he completely ruined my daughter and I's brunch with his horrific attitude.
The wait was a bit much even after we got on the list through Yelp. The staff was super awesome, the music was on point! The menu was very diverse and exciting. Enjoyed the experience. We had the pancake flight with the pineapple upside down and blueberry Danish pancake...scrumptious! Shrimp and grits, barbacoa tacos. Great value and fun!
One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Waited and hour to be seated which was rough, but the food made up for it. Highly recommend the Chile verde Benedict, breakfast tacos, and gluten free pancakes!!! Gluten free pancakes tasted like normal pancakes! Will definitely return if I’m in the area
I took my boyfriend on his first-ever Kansas City trip and our hotel had a disgustingly cold breakfast the first morning, so on our second and last morning in KC, we decided to go out. We knew breakfast on a Saturday would be busy, but we did not know it would be more than a two hour wait. We literally could have been halfway home by that point. We checked in with the hostess a little after 10:00 a.m. on Oct. 23, 2021. She told us it would be an hour because there were 80 parties on the wait list. We were exceptionally polite and patient, as we went into it knowing it was Saturday morning in the city and it was simply to be expected, thus we were agreeable. She cordially thanked us for our patience. After 45 minutes of waiting, we returned to the hostess stand to check our place in line. I was polite, but she was NOT happy to see me again and was so much less patient in telling me that "it [had] only been 45 minutes" and that there were still 80 parties. Fine, but I wanted to know our place to which she said we were "fifty something" - not an exact number, but I was willing to work with it. I asked for an update on time frame and she said, "Maybe another 20 minutes." After we stepped aside, I heard her then offer first-come bar seating to the guy behind us, something she hadn't offered us on either of our visits to the hostess stand. What infuriated me the most was watching couple after couple who arrived AFTER us get seated. Hell, the two women parked next to us were also from out of town. They arrived after we did, were seated, ate, and left. At 11:40 a.m. we called Jack Stack on the plaza who didn't have a wait time. We drove the four minutes there, found parking in the next door parking garage, were seated, given drinks, ordered, ate, and were waiting on our ticket when Snooze finally checked in with us via text. My boyfriend commented, "We were seated and given drinks faster than the other place even put us on their wait list!" It sounds like an exaggeration, but he wasn't wrong. It took so long to get our initial confirmation text, we speculated that the hostess had forgotten about us. Turns out she didn't; she or their system was slow to deploy the first message. Brunch at Jack Stack came with a cozy atmosphere, an incredible server, and a DELICIOUS meal. I was happy to tip $30 there because everyone at that establishment deserved a bit of a "thank you" for providing us such a pleasurable experience. It's been 14 years since I've been to KC or Jack Stack, but our experience over the weekend was just as I remembered it a decade and a half ago. Amidst a pandemic, they still offer consistency. Let's hope Snooze wakes up to finally learn a thing or two from them.
I had the pretzel sandwich which was greasy with spicy sausage and no flavor outside of the spice and grease. The hash browns were also bland and gross. Had a chai latte in addition that was ok. Stay away from these things. I would have been better off going to McDonald’s.
SIENNA WAS GREAT! like more than great, amazing! she was so kind and patient with us, the food was so good and im not even a breakfast person! the world cup pancakes were my favorite!
