I needed to have someone evaluate damage done to my foundation so I contacted SF Bay Engineering. Marcus Yan arrived at the scheduled time, was very easy to talk with and took the time to thoroughly explain the issues I need to deal with and how to proceed. I am very pleased with the services offered by SF Bay Engineering and will call on them again should the need arise.
We are converting a portion of our home into an ADU ran into a problem with a beam in the ceiling that had been charred by the chimney. We called SF Bay Engin. and Marcus came for a site review and very quickly figured out the least intrusive, lowest cost way to fix the problem to make it much stronger than the original structure. He is a treasure! We will be using them for a larger, 1100sf addition at the back of the house and I am confident they will take the same approach to this bigger project. If you are lucky enough to find Marcus and his team, hire them, you will be glad you did!!

Marcus was very professional and understood exactly what I needed. WIthin 5 minutes of the meeting, he was able to finish the calculation and provide me a solution. =D. He was fast.
