WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Do business elsewhere! My husband and I came to the stockyards just for this store. However, we were treated very different than other customers. Two men in the shop were offered beers while my husband and I were ignored. Against my better judgment my husband bought two shirts from them. The guy in front of me had just paid and the cashier threw multiple coozies in the bag (yep, the guy who got a free beer just moments before). We check out and the guy gives us NOTHING. So I asked about the coozies and he said they were free just “grab one.” I guess the employee thought we were too poor, or my husband was too Mexican. Either way, husband is proudly Mexican and as for the poor part, I would not be in the store if I could not afford it. Never again!
I bought an outdoor jacket which I like. Unfortunately within a few months I lost a button on the front. I called about buying a replacement button and was told that was not possible. Rugged, outdoor wear will be abused. When I bought the jacket for over $250 I never thought I couldn't get a replacement button. These buttons are unique and have the Schaeffer logo. The buttons aren't available which kind of makes the jacket useless Be careful when making a purchase here and learn from my lesson
I received the range tek sage color short sleeve shirt for father's day and the pearl button came off in the first wash. I have had other problems with other products from this company i have already commented on. There has to be a better company to do business with. I don't mind paying $80 for something I want but I expect it to last for at least the second one washing.
I used to proudly make purchases from this company because they supported making things in our country before it was cool. I received the catalog the other day and not one single item available is made in Texas or anywhere on this continent. I would rather they shipped the jobs to my neighbor in Mexico rather than slaves in Asia. Shame on Shaefer. I live my vests and shirts, but you will never get another dime because you are sellouts. PS I was actually one of your liberal Democrat customers who supported the brand because we agreed on making good producta here in the US. Now your true colors show.

I bought a shirt from them and, they charge a .5% MTS transit and a .5% crime control…. They didn’t even mention the extra charges.
