This course did not prepare me for my Exam! They charge you $612 for the course, then an additional $250 if you have to retake any part of it. Other people in my office used RECP as well and had to take the National exam multiple times. I had a friend use Real Estate Express, it was priced better, came with more test prep, prepared her for the National and State Exam plus came with a money back guarantee if not passed on the first time. I am very disappointed as I heard good things about RECP in the past. I feel like I got ripped off!
I recommend RECP- especially the 10 week virtual/ on zoom option. Joe Brown was my instructor and he was very knowledgeable in real estate. He's also a kind, down to earth, encouraging man who was very thorough in teachings and wanted to help his students as much as he could.
Such great information tailored to exactly what REALTORS®️ deal with day in and day out. Each presenter was well versed and very knowledgeable on the topics at hand.
I have done 3 pre license classes with RECP in my career. First in 2006 to get my salesperson license, to then get my broker’s license and then my teaching license. This class prepared me to pass my tests! The material is understandable, and the teacher’s knowledgeable! When comparing the costs of other companies, you must realize that sometimes you get what you pay for, and I felt I got the teaching I needed to successfully pass my tests! I highly recommend RECP!
I was a student at RECP. I was not happy with the 15 day accelerated course. I was looking for something hands on as to why I chose the live course. I was expecting a high quality experience since the class is almost $700. Based off my research RECP has one of the most expense courses for real estate. I was told they have one of the best real estate courses in Indiana. It’s a lecture class and the teacher didn’t stay on the syllabus. The teacher made graphs that didn’t make much sense. If you’re new to a topic you’d expect your teacher to make examples/ graphs etc that make sense and something you can look back on and understand even if you forgot about it. So I had to do a lot of interpreting of his work. His handwriting was sloppy as well so That didn’t help much. A lot of the course was all over the place. Instead of making sure the students have grasped the information, they just lecture you for 6 hours and expect you to be ready for an exam a few days later. Sorry that’s not how school works in 2021! Maybe back in the day but the younger generation is used to a different type of learning. I took time off of work to attend this class. I committed my time every night to study and take the practice quizzes. Hopefully they’ll realize that they need to refresh their courses or they’ll just be losing money. Also the books are cheap. They fall apart and expect you to buy a binder for it? They’re aware that the books fall apart. If I’m spending almost $700 on a course I’d at least expect for a binder to come with the book. Not sure how this school will survive with the new generations. Good luck to y’all! 0/10 would not recommend this to someone who actually wants to learn Real estate and be hands on.

I had very bad and disappointing experience with this program. I followed all the material, I read two books several times before the state test( and I should mention I passed their exams at 90% average score) and I realized that their program is not even close and certainly won’t be helpful to pass the Indiana test. I tried 3 times and I gave up. The school is teaching you straight theory, terms and definitions, just like high school. The test gives you real life situations for which you are not prepared for if you never owned a RE license before.. Complete w waste of my time and money. Go some place else. This is outdated and useless program.
I have been using RECP for all of my educational needs and requirements. I have been very happy with all of my live and online education. The instructors that I have had for my live training, have been very knowledgeable in the field of real estate and have always provided contact information if I had any other thoughts or questions on real estate. The online training has been top-notch as well! The online training makes it very easy for me to complete my educational needs at a pace that fits my schedule. I highly recommend RECP for any of your educational needs! They are the best!
