They quoted me little over $5000 to get a container to my business from china. Then after I made the purchase it went to $6000, then they sent me a bill for $7085. I paid the invoice and they sent me another bill for $4000 that they never talked about. Said it’s for duties for the port. This was not explained that it was not part of there invoice. They said $5k originally now it’s $11k plus for shipping a container? I am outraged at how I have been dealt with. I would never send two invoices to someone. Put it in one invoice for the amount you originally said. They just keep billing me more and more it’s insane. Plus this was very unorganized. I had to do an online video service to do a notary for power of attorney. I ask is there anything they need from me so this goes smoothly. I am very busy so I don’t have time to drop everything to get extra documents whenever. They said no. Ok, did that then weeks later they need it again. Power of attorney again? This time without notary so had to pay to download an app to fill out there pdf and sign it. Thought we did this already? I talked to so many different people and nobody seemed to know what the other people in there company knew. I had to give the delivery address to them at least 4 different times. When I ask for a quote to my business they failed to say all the extra expenses after the fact. Your quote should have duties included so you know how much your paying. They sent all this after the fact. After I bought the merchandise and paid for it then they decided to tell me duties were not included until the very last minute. Do your business elsewhere people. Very very frustrating experience working with this company.

I was very excited to have ended up with Platton as my go-to broker. From the first phone call all the way to receiving my imported vehicle from Japan MJ has been at my side making it a worry free and hassle free process. Without him the entire ordeal of dealing with port authority would have definitely turned into a nightmare. I was also pleased with the costs as they weren't as bad as i feared initially. The amount of work and effort Platton puts into their business and to ease the process for their customer was worth every penny. I'll gladly trust them again in the future if i require any of their services a second time around. I just wish MJ wasn't clear across the country, i owe him a drink or two!
