Great response time from quote to everything in between. They are a full service company, next time we import Ill use them for brokerage to drayage to transportation and warehousing. Platton made our Amazon FBA shipment into Seattle painless, labeling , appointments and on time delivery to the fulfillment center.
This company is fraud. Stay away! Max gave me an estimate for clear custom import which is lower than other companies. It was $305. However, when the invoice came, the amount is $1531.44! They also try to black mail me on the timing, they were telling me if I don’t pay, the airline storage fee will in thousands. So I paid what they asked me to pay. However, when I try to pick up the items, the Aircargo said there are fees not paid. Platoon’s “ accounting” department Arthur were trying to charge me $235 for $200 storage fee ISC ( which I already paid in the invoice of $1531.41) but they did not pay the airline. The Aircargo people are very nice, they were trying to help me to pay the fee first to avoid additional storage fee. They are asking for 200 not $235! Arthur said $35 for credit charge on $200! Max, ( the person who I deal first, the owner?) also quoted me $75 for the bound, then he came back increased to $450, they said it is because of your shipment value is higher. I gave him the value of my shipment from day one! He send the qoute to me repeatedly for $75 bond! Also try to charge me $25 notary fee, using the platform to fill out the form fee… Stay away!!!
I recently imported a valuable antique from Europe. I had never taken delivery of an international freight shipment before, so I reached out to Platton. Nathan Campos picked up the phone and was able to take charge of the shipment, guide it through customs and arrange delivery to my home as well, all while keeping me informed along the way. His customer service is next level. I cannot recommend them enough and will use them again in the future.
Platton is beyond THE BEST. The entire team defines service, care and help. Patience and kindness are at the core of what they do. They go above and beyond in making you feel valued, appreciated and understand navigating the twists and turns of global logistics. If you need a logistics partner (and storage too!) you can not find a better team to have on your side. Perfection!
