Love the way they do the restrooms..very nice atmosphere...glad to see drag parodies moving to this venue
Super cute theater! I attended a dance showcase for DanceWorks in the Frank and Katrina Basile Theater and it was the best space. Between the gorgeous lighting and sound quality, it was a wonderful space to watch dancers bring life to the stage again. The bathrooms were also clean and the style of everything was darling. I would love to come back and see more shows/performances in the future!
This was my first time so I did not know what to expect , but it is a first come first serve seating my seats were great, staff is very friendly and theater is very clean, and the Christmas play was awesome I will return for more entertaining plays and show starts promptly on time
I saw "Wad" at the Phoenix last weekend and was very very impressed with the show's actors, writing, staging and tech. The theater's staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Parking was convenient and safe. Go see this show!
The Phoenix theatre is a mainstay in the Indianapolis arts and we are so fortunate it exists. This is a first rate theater who employ professionals who have dedicated their lives to the arts. There's room for so much more theater and art in Indy and I hope we can both provide the support to allow our current institutions to flourish while supporting new ones.
A great place to watch and participate in theater.
Great local theatre that presents thought provoking, edgy, and challenging shows across many themes. An outstanding productions and a fantastic facility.
Very small, quant little theater in the art district of downtown. Very friendly staff and an amazing production of a modern-day version of Julius Caesar. The actors were well-spoken, and the stage props were outstanding. I definitely look forward to seeing another play here in the future.
The new facility is beautiful and the outside space has a beautiful backdrop (the Indy skyline). We were able to safely enjoy a live show again, despite the pandemic. They have a bar available. The only down side it the lack of parking but I understand they are working on that issue!
Had so much fun! Went to see the Christmas special and we were crying laughing. Everyone was so nice as well!
