Came all the way from Germany and just saw "Bakersfield Mist". After the show was one curtain only. Way too less to appropriately value the performance. A very intelligently written play and a wonderful actress and actor who turned this into an inspiring and entertaining event. For all art lovers and people lovers definitely a must see. I give some extra curtains and hope the applause echos to this great cast.
Always one of my favorite theaters here in Indy. Saw Oak 2x. Staff are always fantastic, restrooms clean, and great productions.
The theater itself is beautiful and extremely up to date - you feel like you're in Europe. The play we saw, "A Case for the Existencr of God", was AWESOME and the actors, both named Eric - one of whom is my son- were phenomenal and I am being totally objective in expressing that opinion. Go see this pkay!!!
Just saw A Very Phoenix Xmas! We laughed so much and had a great time. Clever skits that relate to all things Indiana. I believe it runs through Dec 23 and I highly recommend you get tickets!
I was lucky enough to be part of a tour last night showing off this lovely old theater. Our guide could not have been friendlier and his love for the space was easy to understand. There are two theater spaces that are small, intimate, and nicely maintained. You will want to get there a bit early to find parking but I easily found a free spot a few blocks away.
Great venue, hope to be back soon
Great experience, definitely would recommend. We went to a show, awesome.
I am at awh for words. Tonight I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something new and let me tell you THANK YOU JESUS!!! I was able to have the privilege to set in front of 4 amazing people who put on a phenomenal show!!! “Oak by Terry Guest” was by far one of the most amazing Visual experiences I’ve ever had. I felt so immersed in there act. Everyone played such great roles and the story itself was so Intriguing . I’m very grateful to have been strolling past one day and just taking to time to grab some tickets and go!!! I highly recommend checking out Oak by Terry Guest but if not this show I’m sure the phoenix has many more great ones to offer!!! Over all the Phoenix itself was lovely the Greeters, down to everyone on their Team was so nice and very helpful! It was my first time ever coming in so I had a few questions and they were quick and great to answer!!!! I even brought my boyfriend and he absolutely enjoyed it as well!!! 10/10. Will be coming back for more showings
You should see Wasabi! It takes a humorous view of end of life decisions while showing absolute respect for the dignity of death. Only two things are certain right. Go see the play!
The facility is lovely. The service is top notch. And the plays we have seen have all been excellent.
