Happy to have a much needed grocery store in Downtown Seattle. Super organize and good selection of grab-and-go meal. It definitely on a higher price point but this is expected for higher quality offering.

If you want the whole PCC experience, which includes a complete selection and logical layout, Ballard, Fremont, or any other location that’s close to you is a better choice. The prepared foods are the star of the store, which is probably great for downtown workers and profit margins. This store is also a welcome addition to anyone living within a ten-block radius with no other natural food choices. Perhaps it's a dream come true for them, and I imagine that’s where most of the 5-star reviews are coming from. Unfortunately, if you’re an Instacart shopper who lives in Belltown or South Lake Union, you’re now stuck with the limited selection this store offers. I wondered why Instacart was suddenly missing so many of the items I shop for, now I know. Grocery shoppers are faced with a limited selection and a nonsensical layout. The refrigeration is scattered and disjointed, as are the grocery items. For example, the Kiefer and dairy are on opposite sides of the store. Dog food and Red Mill are direct across from one another. A lot of time is lost trying to figure out where things are, especially those carried at other locations but not this one. The freezer section is tiny and limited. For example, the other stores have the delicious Wild Crow frozen pies from Whidbey Island. This store doesn’t even carry take and bake pies. The parking garage has one small spot in a giant garage to return grocery carts. In summary, I might walk from Belltown to the downtown PCC for prepared foods or something I’m confident they have. But the other locations are better suited for everyday shopping. I found myself having to stop at Whole Foods after going here. So, this shopper will give their rating stars to the Ballard PCC, which isn’t all that far away.

PCC Community Markets - Downtown is a convenient location for quality groceries. Noteworthy in this review, however, was the assistance of the butcher/meat counter employee, Chacho. Chacho did an excellent job of assisting in meat selection, explanations, and recommendations for a particular recipe. In addition to the convenience and quality of the store, I would return for Chacho's fantastic customer service.

Wonderful new grocery store in downtown Seattle. Beautiful produce, nice salad bar and great bakery items. It is great to have a new grocery store in the area, since the IGA on third shut down.

Finally a proper grocery store for us downtown citizens! Target was cheap and handy in a pinch, but the lack of a real grocery store was annoying. It may also become my new favorite lunch spot!

Expensive compared to other grocery stories. Quality is alright and doesn't justify the high prices.

I love pcc I shop at most of them exclusively, that said when the new stores open they always seem to hire inexperienced employees. I forgot the woman's name at the cash register so the I only way I can explain her is that she was African American wearing a beanie at 740 am 3/10/22. I had forgot to pay for my coffee by the pound at the self checkout, so I wanted to pay it in cash. As she was checking me out she charged me 50 cents over and I'm very poor, I explained this and she wouldn't let me go pay for it by card held onto it for ten minutes called a coworker then finally she realized her problem... I think she put in the wrong number :( I had worked all night my cat is sick and I wanted to go home. Customer service please 🙏 😢 She wanted to learn what her mistake was by having me wait for another employee not happy

All around I love shopping here. Usually eveyone is very nice ans helpful. This morning at self checkout Arlo was being just being down right rude and aggressive for no reason. When asked if he could just speak to me in a polite way he yelled at me and another person for simply trying to get help. Obviously he needed to stay home today. Just makes for a poor experience and not wanting to return to to harassment from him for just being around him. Bad job Arlo for harassing customers.
