It's a no star place horrible people in the office to check in. Was told like every time I come here the load isn't here been sitting since 8 a.m and 10:30. And still waiting .oo and one of there drivers just almost backed into me.
Place sucks!!!! Stay away from here. Won’t take ppw till appointment time even if yu come early, then will take their time unloading start and stop.. they wrk fast on their own truck than yu!!!!! Sad!!!!’
We used MTL for a delivery service. We were told we would get our item the same day and did not. Had to call and figure out where our item was. Came a day late. Was still charged full price. Paid our invoice, against my better judgement, then 5 months later, they send another invoice stating we didn't pay. I had to go back in my records to see if I paid, then I had to pull up the cancelled check to show them we paid it. Instead of apologizing, LIZ tried to blame me for not using bill pay correctly, when our business name and account number was clearly on the check. Instead of trying to make it right, she accuses me of being rude so she couldn't give me great customer service. My reply was: If I would have gotten extremely great service, we wouldn't be in this mess. We will not be using this company nor recommending it to anyone. Feel free to use this company if you want poor and rude service.
READ READ READ if i could give no stars i would worst place ever to work with. they surprise you with so many unexpected fees its almost as if they make them up. they quoted me and a month later said that the quote they did not include what they originally said. so they charged me more money. they are very rude and dont help to understand the situation. DO NOT TRUST THEM they try and charge you more money because no one wants to work with them. We payed them close to $7000 dollars to rent 3 trailers for 3 MONTHS only.
This is not a place to deliver to. They hold you up forever.
I just had an issue with one of the drivers who tried to run me off the road then proceeded to follow me and ride my bumper, so close that I couldn't even see his headlights in my rear view mirror. Not to mention it's raining and starting to snow and he was going 80 mph near 2nd Ave in Des Moines around 4pm. He was so aggressive someone started recording from another vehicle. Do better and stop being so aggressive with driving.
To all the negative reviews, today 6/24/2026 I had deliveries to this address. I arrived at 8:55 with an appointment for 12:00 they immediately gave me a door and at 10:00 I was empty with a signed document, Thanks MTL 😊
On February 21 one of the drivers backed into my car and now it's totaled. They are accepting no responsibility and leaving me high and dry without a vehicle. They're inexperienced drivers should not be on the road if they can't even back into a parking space.
Appt 12pm. Arrived 8:40am. They saying appt is 2pm. Didnt call me til exactly 2pm for dock. Idk who messed up but you get 1 star for having a pos broker if was him id get new one because he makes you look bad. If was your mistake than your 1 is deserved. Do better and work with better broker.
