Charged 5k to pull one wire, 30ft with all the holes that were pre-drilled in open walls. Wire cost (at retail) was less than $500. Total time on jobsite, 2 hours. Had permit pulled and they pulled their own permit (I have to fight for a refund of my permit). Would not attend inspection for their work (I have to attend inspection and answer questions regarding their work) and demanded payment in full (for work that I don't know will pass inspection). I can find attorneys who will work for a fraction of the cost.
Mr Electric has been working with me over the last 6 months with my ongoing projects throughout the area. I truly appreciate the promptness, and professionalism. I have had them tackle multiple projects, and they have always meet all of my electrical needs. Very please with their services.
I have to express how satisfied I am with Mr Electric of Greater Seattle. I've been a member of their "Advantage Club" for a number of years but rarely need to ask them for a repairman. I did recently need an electrician and, after the service, I consulted with the receptionist, because I thought the fee was too high for the time the electrician was at my home. She LISTENED to what I said and immediately forwarded my call to the manager. He soon called back, agreed with my opinion, and refunded a very fair amount of money. I was so impressed they actually LISTENED to my complaint and took action right away. I will ALWAYS use Mr Electric for any electrical needs because I know they are fair and truly pay attention to the customer needs. Thanks, Mr Electric!!
We had Mr. Electric come out to do an electrical panel repair and install an electrical switch to the outside of our garage in preparation for an outdoor generator install. James Lowe and Rick Lart could not have been nicer, more professional, or open to any and all questions this senior citizen asked them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for electrical support in their homes.
The owner of Me.electric is super nice ! We had some concerns and questions in the beginning and the owner went out of his way and called us to address our concerns and help us understand better! He addressed all of our questions in such a polite nice way ! We have never had such amazing customer service like that ever ! He’s pretty dope for that ! It made us feel a lot better ! They are awesome !!! I highly recommend them ! The owner really cares about the customers !!
Absolutely ludicrous pricing. I had Mr. Electric provide me a quote on replacing a bathroom exhaust fan. They said the fan cost about $200, a permit $150, and it would take 2 hours. The total quote comes to $1400! What crazy world do they live in where 2 hours of work is $1000?! Don't even bother with these guys, they're clearly trying to take advantage of people on pricing. Only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because they were courteous, professional, and put on shoe covers. Edit: the owners have responded basically insinuating that because I didn't actually hire their service in the end, my review is invalid. To quote, "Thank you for the review of services you did not use". If they would re-read my review, they might notice that I have complained about their high pricing, and not on the work they have done. How many grandma's have agreed to pay them $500/hour for electric work?
I had posted a 1 star review due to cancellation of an appointment which was urgent to me (3 smoke detectors failing and screaming Fire! in the middle of the night and chirping low battery all day despite brand new batteries.) The owner, Jim Kleiser, contacted me, determined to make things right. He did. Technician Scott came over after hours and did an excellent job of putting in new alarms. This is a sign of a great company, active in resolving issues and keeping customers. I recommend Mr.Electric.
James Lowe was my Mr. Electric. He installed a line from my circuit breaker to a new outlet (needed higher voltage), through multiple floors in a townhome. He also went through the house, made some safety advisements, and was generally kind and helpful.
I had a great experience with Mr. Electric. Professional, reliable, and easy to work with from start to finish. They were responsive, showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and the quality of work was excellent. It’s hard to find contractors who are both skilled and trustworthy, and they really delivered. I’d absolutely recommend Mr. Electric to anyone looking for honest, efficient, high-quality electrical work.
Before I forget, Mike Young and his colleague from Mr E came out this summer to help with the installation of a new light switch. Arrived on time, immediately did what needed to be done, with a highly professional and friendly manner. Thank you Mike!
