Milkweeds is a fabulous place that has beautiful selection of glass, great classes the staff is so helpful and knowledgeable Warren is the best!!!!
A great experience if you are completely new to fused glass or if you have some prior experience. Alot of info and projects packed into a 3 day class - which was great. The class price is very reasonable so that leaves some money leftover to buy glass for the projects! Warren is an excellent instructor and makes the whole learning process fun. If you have any interest in learning the art of fused glass I highly recommend!
HIghly recommend taking glass fusion classes with Milkweed Arts. I rarely review my experiences with anything online, but Milkweed Arts has been a major highlight in my year thus far. The classes are informative and casual. Absolutely no experience is needed to create beautiful glass objects and art.
I have been a glass artisan creating in several forms of glass for over 25 years. I recently took a class at Milkweed Arts with Lois Manno.on Glass Clay Sculpting and was wonderful. The facility was clean and organized with excellent help from the staff. All the student tools and supplies were ready for our use. I felt that both Lois and the Milkweed staff went out of their way to be accommodated and friendly. I would highly recommend most any class that is offered.
Really enjoyed the lantern design class led by Bonnie. Warren was on hand to answer questions, as well. A class at Milkweed is great date night idea - or an opportunity to explore a new creative outlet.
I have been going here since I moved to Arizona 2 years ago. I love it. Warren is a wonderful instructor and the classes are well worth the money and time. I love this studio and will continue to use it as long as I live in Arizona.
This is a fabulous place to take classes and purchase supplies. Every workshop or class I have taken here has been super fun. I've learned new techniques, gained lots of tips and tricks, and the instructors are wonderful.
The item I ordered was awesome and was well packaged and arrived on time. I understand Milkweed Arts will become a distributor for Bullseye Glass so they'll likely be hearing from me again sooner rather than later!
I love this studio. Both the owner Warren Norgaard and his assistant Isaiah are so helpful and knowledgeable. Often, if I feel that my project was a disaster, they have been able to give me some ideas/hints and turn my project around to something beautiful and saved from the scrap heap!
I wanted to order a bride and groom silhouette on line. But they only had ones with the bride with a bun. I wanted one with the brides hair down. I wrote and told them. Within hours I had a response, with a new hair down bride. I ordered it and added a dog silhouette. They both came together. The dog had a broken leg. I emailed them and within days I got a new one. Both silhouettes are beautiful and I am using them to attach to a "Welcome to the Wedding mirror ". Milkweed Arts went above and beyond to make sure I got the pieces I ordered and that they would make it in time for the wedding. I love this Company.
