I've been taking fused glass classes at Milkweed Arts for a couple of years. Always enjoyable - Warren's a great teacher - very knowledgeable but not overbearing. He allows his students to explore their own creativity but stays in the wings to offer support when needed. Highly recommend.
Warren has a gem of a studio, where you can get world-class instruction in everything from the very basics to the very complex. Classes are fairly priced, the space is beautifully thought out, spacious, well-equipped, and close to some great lunch venues! There is also a comprehensive selection of specialized glass accoutrements, books, magazines and frit for sale. Highly recommended.
Warren provided great instruction in a fun/safe environment. I strongly encourage anyone who thinks they might be interested in fused glass or anyone who would like a refresher course to attend.

I have been going to Milkweed since it first opened. The workshops and classes are great. The instructors are terrific and the space works really well. I plan to keep going there, especially for open studio sessions. Warren and Isaiah have created a welcome and stimulating studio.
Beautiful, clean studio. Plenty of glass and supplies to choose from and Warren was a wonderful teacher! Everyone in the class was so friendly and I highly recommend Milkweed Arts to anyone interested in a Fused Glass hobby!
Milkweed Arts facility is fantastic. The studio spaces are spacious and well lighted work areas. They offer a variety of classes in different art forms taught by experienced and knowledgeable teachers. Also they have a great selection of supplies and glass for fused glass art
My wife and I have taken two fusion classes (coasters) from Warren. This last class we brought along two of our friends. The four of us had a great time in the class. The topic of conversation at dinner and all the way home was about how much fun we had and the anticipation of our finished products. Warren is a great instructor, he provides excellent information and guidance. The artwork in the studio is really well done and the instruction reflects the care and professionalism of the artists. Even someone like me without a creative bone in my body can produce a work that looks good. My wife made coasters last time that amazed my daughter and she displays them all the time at her home! You will not be disappointed by the sessions or the work you produce at Milkweed. These folks are A-One. I will be returning for future classes and will be telling my friends about our experiences. Thank you Warren.
I've been taught for a number of years at Milkweeds Art Glass. I enjoy the experience of working in a studio setting with Warren and the interesting people who take classes there. It's alway a warm friendly place! A creative inducing environment, supportive and it sometimes involving chocolate. The new techniques that are learned are mind opening. I've met so many fun people. The supplies available are many and varied. It's a great place to frequent.
I took a class at Milkweed Arts with Michael Dupille and it was a great three days. There are always classes I want to take but distance and money are the only things holding me back from being there a lot more often. It's a nurturing environment for beginners and there's knowledgeable mentoring for those who have more experience. And lots of good guest instructors.
