I placed an order online, then it took over 40 mins for the order to get filled. While several walk ins got their food near immediately. The toasted Turkey Avocado sandwich came out soggy, clearly sitting in the wrapping for a while. Not sure if this is just new location opening issues. Drinks were fine. I would like to see napkins readily available vs handed out 1 at a time.

Update- 08/25/2024- What a turnaround! So we tried it again because we love this place, we were told it was under new management & because we live a few blocks away- and it is a different place. We have returned about 6 times in the last few months and the sandwiches are fully loaded, fresh and good every time now. What you want in your favorite sandwich shop- Consistency. So keep it up. The service is top notch, friendly and upbeat. Now we are super happy and I would recommend this location once again. **** OLD POST**** Very Unhappy, we received the Peruvian steak sandwich, it had very little meat, was COLD, and super amounts of sauce, we have ordered this sandwich before, not this location. So we have a good baseline. We were still hungry, we decided to do a compare test and went to the same shop - the new location on 4th in Seattle- and that location rocks! The sandwich was super good, loaded with meat, veggies and the right amount of sauce. This is not the first time this SLU location skimps on the sandwich, We now will try to avoid this location until it is under new management. One more thing- they skimp on napkins. They load the sandwich with sauce and give you one single napkin. There is something wrong with this location

Update: A month later and they are even slower. We seriously just watched one of their employees stare at a salad for 2 minutes then just set it down and go do something else. 20 minutes after our order was supposed to be ready, no one was working on online/mobile orders. It’s like they don’t have any sense of urgency and zero direction on how to operate. I really enjoy the food here, but the service is the slowest I’ve ever seen. One time I counted 11 employees behind the counter and yet my online order still took longer than their estimate. I watch them and it’s like they have one person for every small individual task. There’s one person for bagging, but they don’t finalize the bag, just place the food in it. Never have I seen so many employees for such a basic place. How they profit as a business I don’t know. Speed it up!

The food is pretty good... The issue lies with the staff. They are not trained in professionalism. They just stand around and gossip. I had to wait 30min for a 10inch cooked deli sandwich. ... There is a lot of potential here. But staff need retraining, need to focus on the company's interest and not their own. The business was pretty clean though.

I ordered online for pickup and had a great experience - food is delicious, staff was friendly, and ambiance was nice! Food was ready exactly at the scheduled time too. It does remind me of a fancy Panera in terms of structure and menu, as they seem to specialize in sandwiches, salads, and side dishes. I got the Thai Mango Salad (without ramen noodles) and it was SO GOOD!! Really fresh flavorful ingredients and it has a bite to it, I love the spice! The salad portions are also really big. However I also tried the side dish of Watermelon Street Cart salad in size small and while it was good, the side dish container was tiny and I don't think it's worth the price. Ambiance inside is really nice. The place is surprisingly big with lots of both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and picking up my online order was easy. I do see myself coming back to try other things on the menu!

I'm leaving 5 stars because of my great past experiences, but I will no longer be a regular customer. For a year, I ordered the Impossible Taco Salad nearly 5 days a week. I learned today that it has been discontinued. That is a huge blow to vegetarians like me that value that option. I hope they will reconsider this choice.

I was satisfied with the quality of the ingredients. But even without the dressing, my salad was excessively sweet. Similarly, the drinks they make taste good, but are very sweet.

Food is always good. Ordered online for specific time. Order was not ready. I get it. It was busy. But woman yelled at me when i kept coming up to counter to check for my name, said "i'll call you when ready!" She did not call when ready. Asked for fork. None in bag.

Staff was super helpful/sweet. Food was good too! Update 11/6. After eating here multiple times I have to revise my initial review from 5 stars to 2. Pros: -Food is good when they don't get your order wrong / actually toast the sandwiches properly. -Staff is polite Cons: -They get your order wrong frequently. I've asked for the barbeque sauce twice with my not-so-fried chicken to only get the disgusting mustard sauce. -Kitchen is well staffed, 8+ workers at 2pm, not busy at all. yet it takes 25+ minutes for two sandwiches? Please figure out a more efficient system where you don't get the order wrong half the time/make the sandwiches faster. I remember a single person in Subway could take your order, make and toast the sandwich, all in under 5 minutes!
