We just happened a pond McMenamin‘s blue moon TAVERN and Grille. We have spent the few hours at the Rose Garden and just needed lunch. We sat by a open window. We were waiting on quickly. We ordered lovely special, including a salad a soup and a half a sandwich it was delightful. One of the soups we ordered was a black bean and corn tortilla soup with superb the turkey sandwich and the salad were also very delicious. While we were waiting for our food, it was Grateful Dead music playing had a nice vibe in good atmosphere. We go back again.
It was incredible to return to Oregon, 30 years later & after raising my children in Colorado, to see the connection between McMenamins & Mountain Sun Pubs, where a family member works. They delivered on their long-time value of great beer & food, with stellar service deserving of personal recognition.
This place is, how do the kids say, "it's a vibe". Super cozy, plant and natural light filled vintage looking space. They have wood burning heat, pool tables and shuffle board. Love the feel here.
McMenamins is the best, and Blue Moon is no exception. The interior and atmosphere are stunning, the food tastes great, and their beers and seltzers are spot on. Highly recommended!
I enjoyed this McMenamin’s a lot. We had to kill time before going to a film at Cinema 21. I ordered a couple of prickly pear Margaritas and they were great! The service at the bar was prompt and friendly. I love the decor and the atmosphere. I would visit again.
My girlfriend and I got engaged here a little over a week ago and I can only describe the experience as perfect. I have been coming to this place for years and they never cease to make my experiences anything but awesome. From the time I stepped in to talk with the bartender and manager they we're stoked to help me plan and got the whole team on board. They took some slight direction from me and ran with it, making our special moment so cool because that's where we had our first real date. After she said yes they even had. A bottle of champagne waiting for us at the bar! I absolutely love this place, great staff and always a super good time. Would give 10 stars if I could.

I had to ask for my bill three times sitting at the bar until it was brought to me, and then Happy Hour prices were not present. It felt like I was being held hostage.

This is our second visit to blue moon, our server was absolute amazing. The food was great, even though it was expensive, but that’s also McMenamins. The host? Absolutely irresponsible. My partner and I asked how long the wait would be after we sat for our food because we had a movie to attend, He informed us he would only be a 10 minute wait. In total, we waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food, which we did not get until the last 10 minutes of our time. Our waitress asked him three times to help serve food and he ignored her the first and second time like who does that? I have worked in the service industry and the least you could do is not lie to your guests or tell them that it is a one man kitchen. Like I said, our server? Wonderful. Chef? Great! Bartender? Amazing! I would rather spill hot coffee on myself than work with a host like that. I feel sorry for the team.
