Amazing service and good food with excellent drinks
Loved the atmosphere, great beer. Didn't eat food at this location but as particular as I am haven't been disappointed at a Mcmenamins yet.

Our favorite place to eat in Portland! My husband and I were recently in Portland for 10 days and came to this restaurant at least 7 times. I wish I could recall the name of our server--I think it might have been Josh?--anyhow, he waited on us a bunch of times and was excellent. We really love the physical space and the giant old pot bellied stove throwing off heat. We especially love the vegan options on the menu, which are amazing!! I think during our trip we ate at 10 different McMenamins around Oregon. They were all fantastic--we especially loved the vegan options in St. John's, which were out of this world. Thanks so much for providing great vegan food, cool environments to eat it, and wonderful beer.
Good food, good service. Professional yet casual experience.
It had been years since I was last here. Still has the cool low light vibe with the wood stove burning on a cold January day. Soup, sald half sandwich lunch special hit the spot, and my spouse enjoyed her Dungeon burger. A little pricey for what you get, but the ambience and nostalgia made it worth it.
Staff was quick and accurate. Checked in regularly and promptly brought out our orders. The space is as open or private as you need with the wide array of seating arrangements. The wood stoves were a lovely touch on a cold, rainy Sunday.
It's located in a great neighborhood that has character and many dining options. My personal favorite is the Cajun Tots. comfort food with flavor and a light kick. The staff is on top of their game so you end up having a great time.

While it's still a chain, each location has it's own details that make it unique, and Blue Moon is no exception. The fireplace is great to warm you up on cold soggy days in Portland.
