Did phone inquiry and application. Said they would call back in an hour. A week later finally called back after the car I was interested in had sold. I tried to re-engage only to get passive response at best. I have tried five different people. Nothing. Finally got a call after two weeks to confirm my loan had been approved. This dealership group is pretty pathetic across the board from my experience. Multiple people, no follow up... and I was READY to buy!!!

BEWARE OF NORTH CITY HONDA, ESPECIALLY THE FINANCE DEPT. I bought a car from them in November of 2023, at first, I thought I had a good experience, with Juwaun. But then, when I went to sign the paperwork with Luis, somehow about $9,000 got added to the total I agreed upon. I was very upset & had written a bad review, here. I was contacted by customer service, Dominic. He & Juwaun asked me to come back in & refinance, they also asked me to take down the review. Luis filled out the cancellation form for the add-ons I didn't want, signed it & gave me a copy, which I have along with the agreement stating the price/services I agreed to, originally. He told me the adjusted amount of my loan might not be appear on my loan account until March. It is May & he the dealership are gaslighting me. I have not attempted to use any of the services that were added, that I did not want. I'm pursuing all the avenues of recourse I can, but DO NOT TRUST THEM.

My sales reps name was Doug, and I am absolutely elated with my purchase. The time and care he took in helping me find exactly what I was looking for and needed in my vehicle was extraordinary. Very knowledgeable, and honest dealer. They went absolutely above and beyond. They definitely have a costumer for life now because I can’t see myself purchasing from another dealer.....

This is the king of "Bait & Switch" dealerships......No exaggeration! Be VERY careful. I was in the process of purchasing a new Audi, we had agreed on the list price of the car not once but twice on two separate occasions. I communicated that I was happy to place a deposit on the car. That's when it all changed. Long story short, after 3-4 days of chasing down answers, I NEVER received a call, text, or email to start the purchasing process. Sounds crazy right? It's 100% the truth. I challenge the dealership to respond to this review!

BUYER BEWARE! Run, don't walk away from this company. Went to Lincolnwood Toyota with my niece for a car she wanted. They run the old high pressure model from two decades ago, salesperson, sales manager, finance manager. They brought us a sales sheet and included warranties that we didn't ask for and were never mentioned. We had them remove them and agreed to the sale. Then they told her they wouldn't sell her the car until she gave them a 5-star review. They also said she couldn't use her financing because they couldn't produce a bill of sale for the bank due to the CDK malware. Then they used the old someone else is here to buy the car you want. They had her in tears. We figured fine we would just refi when we got home. She signed papers, including a bill of sale, and we went home with no paperwork in hand. When the bank they used sent her the loan agreement and we were shocked. We went 2 hours back to the dealership, since they don't return calls, to get all the paperwork and found they had overcharged for taxes, added an undisclosed 3rd party $165 fee to register the car, and added a $2400 warranty. We went over the issues, and they said the state would refund the overpayment for taxes and they would cancel the warranty. My niece called the warranty company three weeks after signing paperwork to cancel and they said they had no record of her or the car and that she had no coverage. We are now at the 30-day mark and the dealership still hasn't made this right.

Very disappointing experience. An optional Key Protection product was added to my lease contract, but I do not recall it being clearly explained to me at signing, including the cost, coverage, cancellation policy, or whether it was optional. When I later contacted the dealership to cancel it, I was told they do not have access to contracts or products sold under the previous ownership and that I need to contact the prior company directly.(which is leader auto) This is extremely frustrating because the product was added during the lease process at lincolnwood location, yet now I am being sent elsewhere to resolve it. Customers should not have to chase multiple companies just to cancel or understand an optional product that was added to their contract. I would strongly advise anyone leasing or buying here to review every document carefully and ask for a full breakdown of all add-ons before signing.

Worked with Daniel O’Connor to purchase an Ascent. Vibes were immaculate. He was very knowledgeable and quickly put together a deal to which I could not say no. 14/10 would work with again

Bloomington-Normal location is horrible. Rude employees, serviced our car multiple times for the same issue and never did repair it. Claimed the manufacturer did not have a repair option which Subaru stated was not correct. They never followed through with promises made before purchase. Would never return here.

One of the employees driving a white SUV on Sept 10th 2023 tried to run me and bike off the road twice. It was on a Sunday in Evanston along Central Street and the vehicle had Leader Automotive Group stickers and sales sheets posted all over it. the driver was a white man in his 30s with a female passenger around the same age yelling out the window about “how much money he made”. Both had dark hair. Psychotic behavior… running red lights, speeding and honking at bicyclists. Dealer license plate was DL 4511 AK. Came within about a foot of hitting me

Erika was real nice and helped my gf purchase a car. I have bought a car from Tolu and honestly they both have gone above and beyond. The car had a bumper issue and Tolu personally took care of the problem.
