Alex and his team (Dakota, Jose, and Juan) did an amazing job with our deck and pergola and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Alex was professional and very responsive to all our inquiries from start to finish. Dakota was our project lead and was at our house every morning promptly at 7am and worked extremely hard. Any issues or problems that arose, Dakota and team quickly fixed and were very easy to work with. The project did take a bit longer than expected (delayed) but we had some unique/complex logistics with moving baseboard heaters, electrical, etc with replacing a window and adding a new French door to our deck.

The work was quick, coordinated, and well done. K&A handled the building permit, inspection, and kept us informed. They were considerate especially since we have large dogs. They let us know when they would be working and closed gates when they left for the day.

K&A recently completed a composite deck to replace an old rotting wood one. This deck is now the nicest portion of the yard! Probably the whole house! Compared to the rotting boards before, I can't get over how sturdy and solid it is. Before choosing K&A, I got a few estimates from other local companies - K&A's had the most transparent pricing and Alex and Spencer offered honest opinions on our issues, and worked with me to get the solutions we needed. The team is laid back and very easy to work with. There was a hiccup with the design plan, but they addressed it quickly and professionally, and the build was still completed on time. Dakota and Juan were hard workers, showing up at 7am or earlier, and powered through all weather to get it done. They did an excellent job on the construction. Here's to it lasting 30+ years!
