I'm not sure if she treats everyone like this or just SOME of us, but I did not have a good experience. I felt pressured, as she noted multiple times that I didn't know anything, and my friends were lying when they said I only needed 1 saree for their wedding. I am not a fan of using Amazon, especially over a small business, so even though her prices were not the best and she was being rude to me, It was important to me to support a small woman business. So, after 2 hours of her trying to make me buy 3+ outfits, I got a premade top and saree (I decided I would make the blouse from the saree on my own later). She did not let me fully open the saree in the store or inspect the blouse as she just kept passing me things and saying I'd be making a big cultural faux pas. When I got home I found the fabric I'd paid more than $300 had unraveling ends and safty pin holes and the $85 top had hot glued sequins falling off, hook and eye fasteners with no eyes, just a folded fabic piece to catch on, and fraying seams like a high school intro sewing class project. When I brought this to her attention, she argued that these aren't defective products, they are indian style fabrics and said I just haven't worked with them before, so I don't know. As I am writing from Sri Lanka after a beautiful traditional Indian wedding, I would say that that feels objectively untrue as I've now inspected many a reputable saree shops. Do with that information what you will. I was able to find better quality at a MUCH better price without a shopkeeper arguing, insulting,and gaslighting me online. (Also, we agreed on a partial refund after many days, and she still stiffed me $8.)

I walked in for a last minute outfit and she showed me so much love and patience. Even invited me to her home the day of the event to make sure my saree was tied to perfection.

Savi was so great at helping with picking appropriate wedding outfits, and getting them tailored short notice! I had a wedding happening in just over a week, and she was able to get me two outfits crafted within 5 days! Lots of beautiful outfits to pick from, most of which are tailored to your specific size.

I drove over 30 minutes with my sister to visit this shop, only to find it closed with a note barely taped to the door, saying the owner/manager was five minutes away and to call if we were interested— nothing on the website indicated that an appointment was needed in advance. After contemplating, we called and the person who answered (Savi) was unprofessional and dismissive. After prying for details about what kind of event we were shopping for— and learning it wasn’t a wedding (which typically requires multiple outfits)— she implied she would only come if we were ready to spend a minimum of $200 on a single item (like a suit, saree, or lehenga). As someone who is Indian and familiar with the market, I can confidently say that $200 for many of the items shown on their website— or even what we could see from the window— is significantly overpriced. I’m all for supporting local small businesses, but this felt a bit scammy, and the lack of professionalism and transparency was extremely disappointing. I do not recommend this place. Save yourself the time and hassle— you’re better off looking elsewhere or shopping online.

I absolutely loved my experience here! She was extremely helpful with explaining all the different traditions, what exactly we would need to wear, and helped us pick out absolutely beautiful outfits. We came in a bit last minute, but they were able to make sure my outfit was tailored in time! Thank you so much

So much fun! Savi has so much inventory and was able to quickly locate two items in my price range. We also had time to put together jewelry with each outfit. She was a huge help and I’m very excited for to wear all my pieces at the wedding next month!

Savi was so helpful and attentive in walking me through the entire process of selecting a saree, suggesting the best colors and patterns, and tailoring and styling the outfit. I am in love with the final result!! She is an absolute expert at what she does! Highly recommend!!

My girlfriend and I had an incredible time working with Savi to get outfitted for a wedding in India. She described what we should expect going into the wedding and the attire we would need for multiple days of celebrating. We walked out with beautiful kurtas and saris to look our best for a once-in-a-lifetime wedding.

Savi was incredibly helpful when my spouse needed a second kurta last minute for a wedding they were in! We thought we would be out of luck finding something in their size. Savi not only had it in stock but sent us to her tailor to get it fixed to our needs that day! We were able to find the kurta and have it tailored within 2 hours. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Savi was so wonderful to work with! This was my first experience buying traditional clothing and she spent so long picking the perfect saree for my personal taste and budget. She was so kind and easy to work with. She took my measurements and sent my alterations to a tailor and I came back to buy a perfectly fitted blouse for my saree. I will be back for any future events where I may need a saree or lehenga.
