The service was great, very kind people. However it is disgustingly overpriced!! For a classic burger, milk tea , and cheesecake it came out to $31. $5 for a small bag of bland fries and the tea was not very good. They do have great flavored red bulls though.
Awesome, affordable Filipino fusion place with a wide selection of rice, noodles, soups, wings, burgers and desserts. Especially good for share plates. The vibe is a fun island bar, with a full list of drinks and decent beers on tap and in cans. I went there for the wings, which were delicious. Many different types for me to come back and try, although I might go for some of those soups.
The chubby white guy who owns the place will question your taste if you say anything negative about the food and then laugh with his coworkers like you know nothing. Come for the hype, stay for the lackluster main dishes and desserts. Edit: I’m certain management would not condone staff laughing at a customer’s feedback; however, that is what occurred during my visit. Although I appreciate the response from management, I am left uncertain that my concerns were fully understood or addressed.
I had the adobo burger with fries and an ube shake. Let me tell you, the flavors of this burger were amazing. The sauce, the pineapple, it all blended together so nicely. And the shake was delicious. Andrew, the owner, was very pleasant to sit and talk to. Definitely go check this place out.
Hot child in the city vibe…Maybe it’s the 90 degrees in the shade at the sidewalk table…. sharing dairy free pineapple lumpia.. after a few spam fries which were new to us. Great staff, great atmosphere, enjoyed our evening
As a first gen Filipino American, this place was GREAT. This is exactly what I would imagine as Filipino American fusion food. Food was tasty, cooked great, and they were unique. Adobo wings crispy and tasty. Kare kare burger was great. I love the buko pandan milk tea. Food: 5/5 Service was outstanding. One of the owners served us today. Great customer service and he was really patient with my whole family. Answered all of our questions with details. They gave us history about their business and entertained us a bit as well. Service: 5/5 Pricing was appropriate. Keep in mind that this food is unique. It’s Filipino American fusion so you can’t just get this from anywhere. For a huge burger and fries it’ll run you about $14. 20 oz buko pandan milk tea $8. 18 piece adobo wings $30. If you want something cheap then go to McDonald’s. Pricing: 5/5 Overall, great place.
I love it here! The food is always great! I feel welcomed. They even helped me to a refreshing glass of water. They go out of their way to make feel welcomed. I can't wait to come back.
Hunny Beez has amazing creative food fusion dishes and yummy drinks. I stopped here a multiple times during my trip and was never disappointed with the food. But what really kept me coming back to Hunny Beez was the friendly owner and staff at this family owned business, who made me feel welcome and at home myself! In addition to great food and drinks, I’d recommend a drink at the bar while doing some karaoke with friends! I will definitely be back next time I’m in Portland!
Had the Adobo Wingz as recommended by the owner. They were so good. A little charred on the outside, juicy on the inside and the dipping sauce was perfect. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.
DO NOT EAT HERE. It's the worst food that I ever ate. It's not really a Filipino food. The foods are tasteless and lack seasoning. The beef is not tender and rubbery. And don't even try to order the pancit... it's has a horrible taste. Not even close to the real pancit. Their turon does have a little spoiled banana inside and was burnt when they cooked it. The ice cream is not an ice cream, it's a Slurppy. There's nothing really good to eat on their Combo Meals. Disgusting and disappointing. We went there hungry and we left so angry. Please don't waste your money. Most of our food went down to the garbage can.
