Hemline San Antonio

The shop owner, Letty, went above and beyond for me on my daughter's prom night. I could explain how I ended up at Hemline 2 hours before my daughters prom, frantically searching for something feasible for her to wear to the event, but that would require some time and length of description and I do not want to lose any readers attention. I will premise this shortened version by saying that you should NEVER purchase a dress from Gaultier and let them handle the alteration if the event you're shopping for is important to you. That said, I found myself in a panick on prom night. My daughter ended up with an ugly, cheap dress she bought last-minute at the mall for prom. While she was getting her hair done for the event, I made a last-ditch effort to find her something better to wear. I contacted a boutique (Scout & Molly's Boutique) for some help. I asked the girl who worked there if she had any dresses that would work for prom that evening. I explained to her the entire story about how the original dress was destroyed by the store it was purchased from and altered by (Gaultier) and how they didn't tell us until 3 days before prom. The sales girl from Scout & Molly's sympathized but said I wasn't likely to find anything for the event there, but within 5 minutes of hanging up with her, I began receiving texts with photos of dresses from strange numbers. The Scout & Molly's sales girl had gone to all the neighboring shops and asked if they could help. One of thoughs numbers was from Hemline (Quarry area). The owner of Hemline - Letty sent me multiple images of dresses. I didn't look, I just headed down to the boutiques in a rush and didn't want to tell my daughter what I was doing or stress her out any further. At Hemline, I found a beautiful lavender dress and a sticky bra that, while it was not prom-formal, it was very pretty. I bought the dress, along with another dress that I found at Shangri-la, (the very last-ditch store I went to after leaving Hemline in hopes that they would have something, which they did.) When I got home I had both dresses in hand. My daughter loved the Hemline dress so much, and it looked so amazing on her. She didn't want to take it off. She was dancing around the room in it, with a renewed attitude. She ended up wearing the Shangri-la dress to prom because it was an actual formal gown, but I guarantee the lavender dress from Hemline will get lots of wear. I would like to give an enormous THANK YOU to Letty, of Hemline Boutique in Quarry Marketplace (by Trader Joes) as well as the sweet and extremely helpful salesgirl from Scout & Molly's (forgot your name girl, but thank you) for going so far above and beyond for me on prom night. Also, Shangri-la sales girls Eli and Miya for saving prom!

The ladies in this store were very friendly and helpful! My daughter loved this top, but unfortunately, they didn't have her size, and I was flying out the following day. But if you're near this boutique, stop in and see them, you won't be disappointed!

Shopped Hemline in NOLA often. 6/6 first time in SA. Delightful experience. Lovely clothing & accessories. Sales staff very friendly & helpful, able to spot my style, colors & even size. Good suggestions regarding how to wear & accessories. Have now shopped 3 of their stores & same experience at all. If more retailers would invest time to train personnel to this level of service, online shopping wouldn't jeopardize their customer base. Every experience I've had at Hemline has made me feel beautiful. Can't praise them enough. Thank you to all you lovely ladies!

I had an amazing experience shopping at Hemline! The customer service was top-notch—friendly, helpful, and attentive. They make women feel so comfortable and beautiful, going above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I was looking for. Always helping me find an outfit curated for the my event!! Hemline San Antonio is hands-down my favorite place to shop in the city. The people in the store are wonderful - friendly, down-to-earth, and helpful. Even when I don’t buy, I am still treated respectfully and warmly! The clothes are of great quality and very stylish. I always - always - get compliments when I’m wearing my Hemline pieces. No exceptions. The store is easy to get to and easy to find parking. I look forward to my Hemline visits - it is my go-to for a retail therapy session or an outfit for an event. I absolutely love this place.

New to the SA area & recently discovered Hemline. It is safe to say this is my new favorite store to shop! The owner Letty & the other young lady working were incredible. Between picking out things they thought I would like, grabbing different sizes, & just their overall kindness, I couldn’t be more impressed by their service. They also have the cutest & most stylish clothes for any occasion. I bought a bunch of items for my upcoming trip to Mexico & Rodeo!

I bought an orange dress for my mother’s birthday party at this store a few months back and everyone absolutely loved it and complimented me on it. All the pieces in this boutique are beautiful, and they have unique pieces for everyone best store in San Antonio if you want to buy something that is of great quality and will get you lots of compliments and the girls that manage the store are not only beautiful and kind but super welcoming love everything about this store and will keep recommending it!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hemline! This is my favorite boutique in San Antonio. Whenever I am looking specifically for a new outfit, or stopping by to visit with Letti and her staff, I always find just what I need. The clothes are amazing designs, fantastic brands, and the staff is super knowledgeable. It feels like I have a personal consultation every time I am at Hemline. The staff are the best and Letti is my fashion guru! The jewelry and accessories are just perfect too. Hemline is always my first choice when I am out to shop.

I had such a fantastic experience at Hemline. Jenny and another kind woman were very helpful and accommodating. I came in ten minutes before closing, expecting to take a quick look, but the selection here is too adorable to just glance at. Hemline is full of high quality blouses, bikinis, dresses, shorts, and amazing accessories (like beautiful handmade jewelry at very reasonable prices for the quality of craftsmanship). Jenny & her colleague set me up quickly with a dressing room, were helpful w/ opinion when I asked about how the sizing looked on me, and were never in the ballpark of being pushy for sales (which can sometimes make me feel pressured! a pleasant change). Also, wow, along with having an amazing collection of clothing/accessories, it’s a comfortably, lovely personable shopping experience. You can sign up for text alerts that are sent directly from the store’s staff, and can opt in for selective updates about restocking/new items on like 10 different brands of clothing in similarity of style/quality/price to Mumu.

Every time I go in, I find something classy and fashionable, whether it’s for an event, work, or just a cute everyday outfit. Highly recommend Hemline Dresses if you’re looking for great quality pieces and amazing customer service!
