They have a lot of good stuff. You have to check prices on what you’re getting though because sometimes it’s priced way too high. I do wish they had more furniture but I know they can’t control what donations they get. Overall, a good store to score some good items.
Not open two days in a row for "technical difficulties" Update your operation hours if your not going to be open . Learn to make change and sell things.
It's not easy to find good stuff now because everyone & their grandma does the Retail Resale Hustle all over the internet and they're digging for treasure on the daily. Plus, there's an average price hike of 30% across the board in every item category - except dishes for some reason - with an additional, moderately insulting upcharge for plus sizes 😕
My son is two. He was running back and forth from one end of the store to the other, literally, the whole 15 minutes I was there trying to buy us a change of clothes. I'm new to the area and we've been in the car. Needed clean clothes. My son was hurting no one, definitely not himself or any of the 3 other customers in the store. The store manager made a stink about him running back and forth. He was going from one wall to the other, harming no one and laughing. He's two, been in the car, and was not destroying any property nor messing up the store in any way. I left all my basket because after I said I'd keep him with me, the manager walked off and ignored me when I asked for a price on shoes that were unmarked. It's obvious they didn't want my business and I won't be back to this location.
Big store! Very clean and lots of goods. Plenty of parking spaces. I was looking for blue jeans for men, but they didn't much at all. I can't say anything about pricing, because I didn't buy anything.
I think Goodwill forgot that they get all of their product for FREE. Everything is donated…. The store is a joke, everything is entirely too overpriced. This is suppose to be a store where it helps the ones who in a sense struggle or honesty just want to buy some “cheaper” clothes and don’t mind that they have already been worn. I understand everything is going up on price right now and the world is just crazy at the moment, but still, everything that they have was literally given to them. They make straight profit off of everything. I used to love to go to Goodwill and find all kinds of neat treasures…. Now I will never go again.
Staff is very helpful, personable and friendly. I go there often, they have a huge selection and good prices. Treat you like family. 1 warning though sale days can be very hectic and check out lines on those days can be very long.
Manager, Nikki and salesperson Cassandra from the 6908 Camp Bowie store in Ft Worth. I purchased an ice cream maker for my son and I was extremely excited. However I get home only to discover that it was missing the motor! I immediately drove back to the store but they were already closed. I couldn't get back until the afternoon of the next day and I just knew the part would be gone. I talked to Cassandra and explained my plight. She was busy stocking but she graciously offered to stop and look. She came back and apologetically told me she couldn't find it and it may have been put in the trash. Realizing that she as extremely busy, I asked to speak to a manager. Nikki listened as I explained that I knew this may be hopeless. She explained that the trash was gone but she sensed my desperation and offered to look again. After about 15 minutes, Nikki came back with the part! I am so appreciative to them both! I've never experienced such awesome customer service! Thanks so much!
Great experience at the Camp Bowie Blvd Goodwill in Fort Worth. Deborah was friendly and helpful, the whole staff is always really nice, and the store is clean and well organized. Always enjoy shopping this location — I’ve found some great pieces here!
Every store is different so you may have to visit a few to find yours. This store is well stocked and the inventory moves fast. The prices are great and they will negotiate a little. The employee's are polite. At times there can be a ten minute wait but your savings will make it worth the wait.
