Walk in, feel welcome, and taste really good beer. The folks here are eager for you to try as many of their beers as you would like and will never make you feel like a mooch for sampling. Their generous business model is much appreciated. The folks are very nice and will take the time to get to know you and make wise recommendations. Their growler system is great! make the $5 investment and never be without fresh beer again. I have gotten 2 kegs from them as well and received excellent service in the process. Georgetown Brewing Co has become my go to Brewery of 2015 and will continue to be one of my Seattle happy places.
I love Georgetown Brewing Co, definitely the cheapest place you get Lucilles and Bodhis, can't beat them.
Great selection of beers and great tasting menu
Great long time Seattle craft brewery. My wife her friend and I stopped in for a flight of beers. My wife got a bunch of IPAs, her friend and got got a good mix of their beers. I'd been drinking a lot of IPAs on vacation so their Porter and Stout were a good change-up. And of course their flagship Manny's Pale Ale is always a good choice either at the bar or around Greater Seattle.
We visited Georgetown Brewing on an especially wet Seattle day...wet even for Seattle. Since Georgetown has a pretty extensive beer menu, each of our party of four went for the 3-beer sampler. This is highly recommended: on the one hand you can zero in on something you want to return to later. Perhaps a takeout growler? On the other, it confirms what you perhaps already knew: that your memory of drinking mead years ago led you to the decision that it would never become part of your usual quaffing routine. 😳 They have a 'Sea of Life' range that included the 'mead' (my terminology, not theirs), and although I applaud the effort I couldn't see myself dipping my toes into this pool anytime soon. On the other hand, there's the more familiar and preferred IPA range, more familiar and preferred to me that is. Anytime a beer menu says 'flagship', take it! Such was the Manny's Pale Ale. And finally, the find of the day: the 'BA 18lb Imperial Porter'. Most excellent! We have a good friend who's a port aficionado; I thought immediately of him, and how could I get this in front of him? As I think about this, I recommend anyone reading this to visit Georgetown and buy a couple of these in their 22 oz. bottles.
My favorite beer in Seattle, and we have a lot! I have lived in South Seattle for 16yrs and brewery is fairly close. Selection has grown over the years and the staff is always friendly. I had kegs of Manny’s and Roger’s at my wedding 14yrs ago. Tasters, tasting room and merch is pretty cool. I always get kegs/growlers to go. If you want the most excellent beer, come here!!!

Super solid beers are not only still being created here but continue to inspire the craft beer scene in Seattle. This is a great tasting room making some of the best beers in town.
